It’s flushing but not going anywhere and the bowl is full of poo and loo paper Blush What the heck do I do?!

Now that should teach you to eat your sprouts Xmas Smile

HirooOnoda · 24/12/2018 20:53

@ThomasRichard are you a tradesman? Uninvited? This seems all too familiar to me Wink

sunshineandthunder · 24/12/2018 20:57

Omg, happened to me whilst staying at a friends house a few weeks ago. Luckily I had brought my toothbrush etc in a ziplock ikea bag... managed to fish out the offending poo, seal it then triple bag it in a couple of carrier bags I had brought with me to put my pillow in.

I disposed of it in a public dog poo bin on the way home. Oh, the shame of it!!

Truckingonandon · 24/12/2018 21:03

Who the actual fuck decides to fling a turd out of a window??!!! How could that EVER be a good idea!!!!

sharke · 24/12/2018 21:06

There's not much that shocks me on MN anymore, but I am aghast at the amount of poo-fishing that goes on

rabbitfoodadvocate · 24/12/2018 21:09

@Truckingonandon The girl I knew never lived it down and because she couldn't laugh at herself, really suffered for it!

She was utterly wasted, I will say that in her defence.

bathtimesanity · 24/12/2018 21:10

I did this the first time I stayed at my boyfriends house alone😂 he was in London overnight and I was 19 so he let me stay there on my own to get some space from my parents, I blocked the bloody thing after a giant poo and it ended up overflowing all over the floor (thankfully no poo though!)😭😭

I had to call my mum round as it still wasn't unblocked, she used a coat hanger and it's what I've used every time since, works without fail!

What is my life😫

Drogosnextwife · 24/12/2018 21:12

Big spoon or fork of some kind with a ling handle, stick it down try and pull some of the blockage back up and hold it on the side of the bowl till some goes away. Flush while still holding the blockage mess in the bowl then let ot go little bits at at time.
Ive had to do this several times, and its necer me that blocks the toilet always one of the 3 males in the house and their silution is keep flishing!

goose1964 · 24/12/2018 21:14

if using bleach you need to leave it for at least an hour. Generally leave it overnight to saturate works (combo of meds and crap flush experience)

This story is still hilarious

Truckingonandon · 24/12/2018 21:32

Everyone will hear you flushing the loo 15 times and know EXACTLY what is going on anyway!!

sagethyme · 24/12/2018 21:53

What's an iPoo?....Grin

Murinae · 24/12/2018 22:18

An ipoo is when someone takes their iphone or iPad to the loo with them and stays there for hours

suze28 · 24/12/2018 22:29

I'm really pleased you've sorted it out and not had to resort to chopping it up with a tea spoon as per a MNetter, from a few years ago, who blocked a hotel toilet.

TitsNnails · 24/12/2018 23:12

Poop knife. It's a thing.

Sandbox · 24/12/2018 23:23

I’m crying with laughter, I’m so glad I’m not the only one who has poomergencies

Apileofballyhoo · 24/12/2018 23:38

That poor woman on the date. Tears of laughter. Glad you got sorted, OP. Did you have to ask MIL for a washing up bowl?

MollyHuaCha · 25/12/2018 08:34

Great start to the festive season. Merry Christmas everyone. Xmas Smile

Musseswoofles · 25/12/2018 08:46

are there no loo tools?

Say what now? Confused

Bluesheep8 · 25/12/2018 08:48

Oh the christmas poo! I know someone who threw it out of the bathroom window and it landed on the glass roof of the extension below. Where people were eating Christmas dinner!

abbsisspartacus · 25/12/2018 08:54

This is why I leave my plunger by the loo mine is so prone to blocking!

Thisnamechanger · 25/12/2018 09:13

Well this has definitely set my Xmas morning off in the right note Xmas Grin

MrsJMartintheFirst · 25/12/2018 09:31

@Thisnamechanger mine too! Love a bit of toilet humour at the best of times 😃

ThomasRichard · 25/12/2018 12:28

@HirooOnoda no I’m not a tradesman! Looks like I might have a necessary skill to become one though...

I topped it off yesterday by accidentally scaring the cat.
