Can you guess what my kitchen looks like ffs

She called up and asked if she could make hot chocolate, I said yes, she decided she couldn't wait for the milk to heat on the hob and filled the kettle instead.

I now need a new kettle on christmas eve and I was determined to stay away from the shops today

Some posters are being very harsh here. I did all sorts of stupid stuff when I was younger and lived to tell the tale.

My favourite experiment was when my parents bought a dishwasher - we had never been able to afford one before. The first time I loaded it, I thought I would be super helpful and put it on...but I didn’t know about dishwasher tablets so just squirted a load of Fairy washing up liquid in it. The results were hilarious Grin. And I was 19 when I did that!

Sounds a bit genius to me- thinking of a shortcut outside of the box! She survived and as others have said itll be a funny story to tell for years. No I dont agree with others that she should pay for a new one so Im glad you didnt make her. Sone teenagers dont attempt anything. Know what Id prefer.

I'm pretty sure this is a fairly common mistake amongst young teenagers. i did the exact same thing around about that age 😂☺. Ds tried to do the same too but was told not too!

Crikey OP, thanks heavens she wasn't near it at the time, burning milk sticks to skin.

I promise you will laugh about this in 10 years time. At that age I tried to microwave an egg Blush
