Because it's Sunday and Christmas Eve tomorrow it feels like everyone has finished for Christmas! I'm in tomorrow but only for the morning so at least it's not a full day but I still have to do the Monday morning rush! Anyone else at work tomorrow?

Yeah me , quite looking forward to it 😁

Stripyhoglets1 · 23/12/2018 15:55

Yes. But working from home. Got a full days hours to do though and next year I'm not volunteering for Xmas eve!

Oddsocksandmeatballs · 23/12/2018 15:56

There will be plenty of people working tomorrow, Christmas Day. Boxing Day and wall the other days over Christmas. I am on tonight and tomorrow night.

AlpacaPicnic · 23/12/2018 15:56

Yes! We can go in half an hour later, and go home an hour earlier so that's nice. (Handily is also opposite a supermarket so I can pop over to grab my last minute fresh shopping)

We're expecting a very quiet day.

Allsloppy · 23/12/2018 15:56

Yes we have to go in till around lunch. Have a few Monday reports to file for our USA parent company. Don’t mind as I’m am not doing dinner this year.

x2boys · 23/12/2018 15:57

Dh is , i was a nurse for many.years so often worked throughout xmas imcluding many xmas days, i do think shops should give their staff more than 1 day off though there is no need to be open on boxing day imo.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 23/12/2018 15:57

Me! NHS admin. Love the job though so don’t mind. Back in on Thursday too.

BeeFarseer · 23/12/2018 15:59

Me. I'm quite glad, I'll be able to set everything up so it runs smoothly while I'm off (in theory!). I can leave at 3pm when my core hours end but I'm hoping we'll be allowed to leave a little bit earlier.

Icantbelieveitsnotnutter · 23/12/2018 16:00

Yes, just the morning too. I quite enjoy my office job. The traffic is usually terrible but assume it will be quiet and we probably cruise through the morning's "work". I think we're just showing our faces Grin Respect to the retail and emergency workers though.

myusernameisnotmyusername · 23/12/2018 16:00

Aah good to hear from you all. Hope you have a good day tomorrow and to anyone who's working Christmas Day and Boxing Day you're my heroes!

At least I now have a job and enjoy and am massively busy atm so it should go quick.

ScreamingBadSanta · 23/12/2018 16:02

Yes, in tomorrow. I don't mind - there'll be a good atmosphere in the office.

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 23/12/2018 16:03

Yes, but I’m in all week, next day off will be 29th December.

I’m quite looking forward to a more relaxed week as it typically is over Christmas.

I’m a nurse so Christmas working comes with the territory, I never really mind.

BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou · 23/12/2018 16:06

I’m not because I work in a school but DH will be at work until his normal time. He is taking annual leave between Boxing Day and New Years though.

LittleLlamaontheduskyroad · 23/12/2018 16:06

No, I managed to get tomorrow as annual leave, but I am in on Christmas Day.

FormerlyFrikadela01 · 23/12/2018 16:07

I start nights tomorrow and finish on Thursday. I'm a nurse so it goes with the territory. DP also works in the NHS and finishes nights in the morning.

PlayingForKittens · 23/12/2018 16:07

No, I'll be relaxing tomorrow and having a drink or 2 because I'm working night shifts Christmas day and boxing day.

flowerycurtain · 23/12/2018 16:10

Me. I'm a farmer and the animals don't feed themselves!

Flower777 · 23/12/2018 16:11

I am working today 2pm - 12am and tomorrow 3-9pm. I work in mental health.

Lauren83 · 23/12/2018 16:12

I am too! Work in healthcare (private) so working 24th/27th/29th/31st, looking forward to not getting stuck in traffic Smile

lanbro · 23/12/2018 16:13

Yes, I'm open for customers to collect orders but only 9-2pm, I cannot bloody wait to close and have a week off!

MrBrown · 23/12/2018 16:30

Yep, tomorrow and Xmas day! Bit shjt cos it's the first year DS really understands it but hey ho, just the way it is! Am off Boxing Day and the day after thankfully so that's when my family are doing our Xmas day.

NicoAndTheNiners · 23/12/2018 16:33

Me, working till 9pm. Healthcare.

IShitChristmasGlitter · 23/12/2018 16:35

I work in a nursing home and doing the night shift 8pm till 8am

MiddlingMum · 23/12/2018 16:38

Not actually working, but self-employed and planning a couple of hours of admin early in the morning. Various emails to clients, accounts to tidy up, that sort of thing.
