Good absorbing gritty British crime series?

I need something to take my mind off my shitstorm of a life Grin

Loved No Offence, Unforgotten, Hidden/Craith, Hinterland etc..

Not keen on anything too far fetched so couldn't get into Killing Eve for example.

Any recommendations? Thanks Flowers

You might like ‘Trust’ that was on recently. It’s still on iplayer, it’s about the Getty kidnapping. It’s brilliant.

Yes series 1 of LoD isn't as gripping as the others (and is the weakest IMO) but absolutely stick with it and you won't be disappointed
