Jonsnowsghost · 12/12/2018 22:37

The Fox and the hound, only actually watched it once as I was too traumatised, Disney what are you doing to me?!

Avegemitesandwich · 12/12/2018 22:39

The bit in Saving Private Ryan where the guy who plays Pheobes brother in Friends (can't remember his name) dies and he is calling out for his Mum. It's horrible.

Lellochip · 12/12/2018 22:44

OutComeTheWolves I just had to watch Pride again after this thread and yep, every time when the coaches pull up 😭 I think this is one of my favourite films, so many other touching moments too

Graphista · 12/12/2018 22:49

Mrsfassy I've not seen any of that season. I can't get 5usa live at mo I can get my5 catch up but they don't show everything on that. Yep just checked no NCIS.

"Also, in House, the death of Wilson's girlfriend" yes. That episode is also incredibly tense! Anne dudek is an amazing actress who once you know her is one of those that's in bloody everything! 😂 house, friends, himym, rizzoli and isles, the mentalist, criminals minds, castle...

Cakeandmarshmallows · 12/12/2018 22:51

The fault in our stars, book made me weep buckets as did the film!!! Most of the cinema was sobbing!

Elderflower14 · 12/12/2018 22:52

The end of Ashes to Ashes.

StormyLovesOdd · 12/12/2018 22:56

Toy Story 2 and 3 both have me in tears.

Toy Story 2 when Jessie is singing the song whilst sitting on a swing about the little girl growing up and forgetting her. And

Toy Story 3 at the end when Andy is all grown up and giving away the toys. And obviously the bit in in incinerator.

StormyLovesOdd · 12/12/2018 22:59

Thought if another one, the final episode of Breaking Bad. I loved Walter White so much (sob)

LEMtheoriginal · 12/12/2018 23:00

CalmConfident · 12/12/2018 23:05

A huge agreement with someone up on the thread for Inside No. 9 "12 Days of Christine"

One of the most amazing 30 mins of TV. DH cries even thinking of it!

Chocolaterainbows · 12/12/2018 23:09

cigarettesandcoffee

With you 100% on this one. My most favourite movie of all time Grin

bunintheoven88 · 12/12/2018 23:09

The end scene in Cinema Paradiso, makes me cry like a baby every time.

Also the scene in Frankie and Johnny when Clare De Lune is played 💔

GrubbyHipsterBeard · 12/12/2018 23:09

In series 1 of the missing, the footage of the little boy at the window before someone clasps their hand over his mouth and pulls him away Sad

PanGalaticGargleBlaster · 12/12/2018 23:12

The scene in Amastad when the slave traders realise they do not have enough supplies to sustain the whole ‘cargo’ for the trip across the Atlantic so end up tying a weight around the chains of some of the slaves and lobbing it overboard drowning them.

The end of Cold Mountain

The end of Withnail and I

When Ratzo quietly dies on he bus in Midnight Cowboy

When Red reunites with Andy at the end of Shawshank.

The scene at the end of the Dambusters when the surviving crews return to the airbase and are having breakfast in the mess hall and the camera pans across the room to see dozens of empty tables where all the lost airmen would have been sitting.

Steve McQueen not making the second jump into Switzerland in the great escape.

helterskelter1 · 12/12/2018 23:13

Pay it Forward! I remember crying myself to sleep and then waking up, remembering the ending and then bursting into tears again!

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 12/12/2018 23:18

The end of that Fast & Furious film where the actor drives off into the sunset to follow his family, following a little montage of his best clips, and you know it’s because he actually died in real life whilst filming and they’re paying a tribute to him. I believe they had his brother stand in for that last scene and edited it a bit. So sad.

MistyMeena · 12/12/2018 23:19

Toy Story 2 when Jessie gets dumped

Most of Truly Madly Deeply

Many of the scenes featuring William in This is Us

Am I alone in never having seen Love Actually?

OoohSmooch · 12/12/2018 23:24

Sally Field absolutely losing it in Steel Magnolias

Sally Field is just amazing in that scene and every time it makes me cry so much!

A nicer scene but still makes me so emotional and teary is when Sara in A Little Princess is reunited with her dad....wow.

LittleKitty1985 · 12/12/2018 23:31

Watership Down and Titanic are guaranteed to make me ugly cry!

BeetlebumShesAGun · 12/12/2018 23:41

Two from the Buffy episode “The Body”:

The whole scene from when Buffy finds Joyce dead “Mom? Mom?...Mommy?” to when Giles arrives and is trying to help, and Buffy shouts “We’re not supposed to move the body!” You can see the shock and realisation in SMG’s face as she realises her mum is really dead. Heartbreaking.

And Anya’s speech about death:
“But I don't understand! I don't understand how this all happens. How we go through this. I mean, I knew her, and then she's, there's just a body, and I don't understand why she just can't get back in it and not be dead anymore! It's stupid! It's mortal and stupid! And, and Xander's crying and not talking, and, and I was having fruit punch, and I thought, well Joyce will never have any more fruit punch, ever, and she'll never have eggs, or yawn or brush her hair, not ever, and no one will explain to me why.”

Tearing up now Sad

Cantthinkofabloodyname · 12/12/2018 23:50

The bit in Scrooge's, where the little boy with mutism says near the end "and God bless everyone (or something similar)". It always makes DH & I well up as our eldest DS has selective mutism.
