Muriell walking past her Mum in “Muriel’s Wedding” and then the happy photo of her her they find afterwards. Just one of many.

In Doctor Who when David Tennant regenerates and says “I don’t want to go” Oh my god you can’t speak to me for 3 days because I’m still crying 😭

ItchySeveredFoot · 13/12/2018 19:06

Always has reminded me of another one. When Rose and the Doctor get separated forever. The goodbye scene on the beach has me sobbing.

LittleKitty1985 · 13/12/2018 19:11

This 2 minute animation:

I challenge you to watch it without crying...

ItsClemFandangoCanYouHearMe · 13/12/2018 19:16

The scene where fry's dog waits for him in futrerama. I can't handle it!

ItsClemFandangoCanYouHearMe · 13/12/2018 19:23

Oh and dr cox losing it in scrubs with the transplant patients. The second 'How to save a life' starts playing, I'm already crying!

Graphista · 13/12/2018 19:46

"The Age of Adaline" I love that film, nobody else I know has seen it!

"Mickey dying in Rocky III" there's a good few in the rocky franchise. Your comment made me also think of when adrienne nearly dies having their son - so sad that rocky doesn't really have a relationship with his son, but I believe it's been written that way as his real life son played the son and then has since sadly died. And also in creed SPOILER ALERT (but then thread is full of em!) when rocky & Adonis are developing a father son relationship but creed feels rocky is leaving him by not getting treatment for cancer.

Anyone see on Graham Norton the clip showing a rehearsal for creed, the production team and Michael b Jordan agreed for one part of the fight choreography it only worked if he really got hit - real boxer playing the opponent too - and it's literally one hit and doesn't even seem that hard and he pure just hits the deck out cold! Like wtf!

mytieisascarf · 13/12/2018 19:47

Philadelphia...… so so sad.

And whoever upthread said Inside Out when BingBong sacrifices himself is spot on. In fact, that whole film makes me cry.

aurorie11 · 13/12/2018 19:47

Can I add Paddington 2 when his aunt arrived, I sobbed

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 13/12/2018 20:11

A monster calls... 'It ends with a boy holding on tight to his mother. And by doing so... he can finally let her go'

Lion.. When he's reunited with his family but learns his brother died the night he went missing. Read the book and still cried.

The Orphange.. When she learns what happened to her son and what follows from that. The hustband returning and finding the necklace. Realising they've been reunited

Disney.. So many Disney moments. Coco was a wreck after

Orangecake123 · 13/12/2018 20:22

A little princess when she's begging her dad to remember her and little women when beth dies- every single time.

PissedOnProsecco · 13/12/2018 20:30

Lion at the end. I was ugly crying.

littletortoise · 13/12/2018 20:30

Embarrassing, but Spider-Man ‘dying’ at the end of infinity war. I knew it was coming but still it broke me. I actually cried, full on snot, in the cinema..... I know he’s not real (and that he’s coming back!) but oh, it hurt.

Pride - all of pride. Love it.

PissedOnProsecco · 13/12/2018 20:31

Izzy and Denny. Greys Anatomy. Again ugly crying.

CheeseTheDay · 13/12/2018 20:36

The end of E.T. - The Extra Terrestrial. I cry even thinking about it.

CheeseTheDay · 13/12/2018 20:39

Oh and the various scenes where Hedwig, Dobby, Fred, Nymphadora Tonks, Remus Lupin and others die in Harry Potter. I'm a mess.

candlefloozy · 13/12/2018 20:45

Friends / the last episode when they all leave their keys. End of an era. So so sad

Up/ the beginning of that. Makes me blart.

Beaches / just hearing wing beneath my wings sets me off

littlemisscomper · 13/12/2018 20:50

@LittleKitty1985

I don't understand that kiwi film?

Ifangyow · 13/12/2018 20:53

The end scene in the film Cathy come Home where she's screaming and clinging onto her children while the social worker and police are wrestling them from her arms. Leaves me in a sobbing mess every time. It even brings a tear to my DH eye.

The end scene in Black Adder where they go over the top of the trenches.

Two scenes in The Royle family. One where Barbara is brushing nana's hair and they start singing Que Sera Sera. The second one is when Nana dies to the song Scarlett Ribbons.

I go through the tissues like they're going out of fashion.

Omg me too proper broke my heart he did.
I cant listen to 'Rose's Theme' without blubbing😭😭

MickHucknallspinkpancakes · 13/12/2018 21:23

Modern Family - Mitch And Cams wedding, when Mitch's dad gave him the golf club for the venue, and walked him down the aisle proudly after previously arguing over the wedding.

When they exchange vows it's so utterly convincing and joyous.

Tangled when Flynn cuts off her hair while he's lying there injured. And also the scene where all the lanterns are lit every year and she watches but doesn't realise it's for her.

Hezz · 13/12/2018 21:25

"Here lies Dobby. a free elf"

😭😭😭

EleanorLavish · 13/12/2018 21:31

Forrest Gump and ET still have me crying every time. But another one I love is Goodbye Mr Chips. The final scene always kills me
"I thought you said it was a pity, a pity I never had any children. But you're wrong. I have! Thousands of 'em, thousands of 'em ... and all ... boys."

PokemonWanker · 13/12/2018 21:34

YY to both of these. Watched the beach one yesterday. Makes me cry every time.

Linziepie · 13/12/2018 21:40

Sophie's Choice

MaderiaCycle · 13/12/2018 21:44

There’s a scene in Meet Joe Black between the daughter and her Dad that breaks me every time. The whole of Stepmom with Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon.
