Worst film ever? Long, boring, weird, choppy editing, atrocious script, blatant Bridget Jones wannabe, and Jude fucking Law.

I honestly don't get this. Surely it's cheaper, easier and more authentic to film a real house for an exterior shot? I guessed the inside was a studio but the outside had me fooled!

A lot of the film was shot at my son’s boarding school and the cottage belonged to one of the teachers. The school isn’t in Surrey

It being fake is why so many holiday rentals can claim to be the inspiration.

It's a pile of shite. Watched it a couple of years ago as it's always lauded on here as an amazing Christmas film but it's utter shit.

The only things that bug me is that they never did explain how the long distance thing would work with jobs etc or if one would move.

Oh and Iris calls one of the kids by the wrong name at the end.

I feel women were royally ripped off having Jude Law and Jack Black presented as the love interests. Neither are remotely fanciable from either physical appearance or character perspective.

I can not bear to watch any of these films even if only with half an eye whilst present wrapping or whatever. They are all dire, badly scripted and acted, sexist overtones. They make me gag, cringe and bum clench simultaneously

Oh and The Wedding Planner with Jennifer Lopez was pretty bad too.
I'd put that as number 4 on my list of worst films of all time.

It actually makes me mad how these films are specifically marketed at women and are then full of lazy sexist stereotypes, poor acting and script writing... and a lovely location and wardrobe are meant to make up for these
And to add insult to injury we are asked to accept Jude Law and Jack Black as romantic heroes
