I can't believe it's December & we STILL haven't had a frost yet!

This has got to be the warmest December ever. Not once have I seen a frost yet. The odd misty morning but that's it. I live in a major city in the south. How is it for everyone else?

Ive had to scrape my car a few times in the mornings but then I'm way up north in the midlands.

donajimena · 09/12/2018 18:58

We've had two frosts. South Wales

ByeGermsByeWorries · 09/12/2018 18:58

We've had a few in Leicestershire

stoplickingthetelly · 09/12/2018 18:59

I'm in the north west and we've had a few icy mornings.

JennyOnAPlate · 09/12/2018 18:59

I think we've had 2 in the West Midlands. This time last year we were buried in snow!

hazeyjane · 09/12/2018 18:59

We have had frosts.

Wiltshire town.

Orangedaisy · 09/12/2018 18:59

Very suburban London-we’ve had a couple. Do you get up early enough?

YahBasic · 09/12/2018 19:00

Very mild but very stormy in the South West.

ivykaty44 · 09/12/2018 19:01

I’ve scrapped the car a few times in the Midlands

blackteaplease · 09/12/2018 19:02

We had a lot of frost in November, and one last week here in rural devon

carringtonm · 09/12/2018 19:03

We haven't even got our heating on yet!!!

CaptainBrickbeard · 09/12/2018 19:04

I’m up north and have a sunflower growing in the garden. It sprouted up in September after the big one that my ds has planted died and it’s still going strong - totally bizarre! I leave the house at 7am and only have had to scrape the car once.

SixToEightInchesOfSnow · 09/12/2018 19:04

We’ve had 2. We’re way up in the north west of England but by the sea.

Dragonglass · 09/12/2018 19:04

We've had a few down here in the south west. It's bee mild most days though.

OrangeSamphire · 09/12/2018 19:05

We haven't had any frost yet. But it's a rarity here anyway as we're on the south coast of Cornwall where it's warm and very salty.

Tuptup · 09/12/2018 19:07

I'm in the very North of the Highlands, we've had frosty nights and some snow on the top of hills last week!

ArcheryAnnie · 09/12/2018 19:10

I put on a coat today for the second time this winter, but i didn't really need it.

liguana · 09/12/2018 19:10

We don't have our heating on yet either. Yesterday I was dashing about town in a long-sleeved t-shirt, scarf & cardie. It's just not cold yet. I bet we have a massive explosion of bugs next year because you need a cold winter to kill them all off.

Oddsocksandmeatballs · 09/12/2018 19:11

Suffolk and we have definitely had frosts, I have had to scrape ice off my car (well I would if my front screen wasn't heated) after at least two night shifts.

Dirtygirtyisthirty · 09/12/2018 19:12

Where in the south are you?! We've had a few in south London and the heating has been on for a month....

ChatNicknameAlreadyInUse · 09/12/2018 19:12

Already been in the minus degrees here in Scotland! Have had to scrape the car quite a few times.

Ironfloor269 · 09/12/2018 19:15

@ivykatie44, that's an overreaction to a bit of frost, isn't it? Surely it's not bad enough to scrap your car?

Talkinpeece · 09/12/2018 19:16

And Trump still does not accept that global warming is real

without frosts we will not get apples next year

EddieVeddersfoxymop · 09/12/2018 19:17

It was -6.5 when I drove to work last week. North East Scotland.

Stormwhale · 09/12/2018 19:18

I have had to scrape my car twice - essex
