Is it because if a witch gets a part of your body the witch can curse you, and the tooth fairy's job is to keep you safe from that?

It was a doddle when DS1 was losing his first milk teeth, as DS2 was cutting his. Seeing as they share a bedroom, the tooth fairy didn't even have to leave the room to whisk the tooth from under one's pillow, and straight into the other's mouth!

Our tooth fairy wrote a letter a while back asking mum to hold onto the teeth as they contain stem cells which could save your child’s life one day. So now I have a creepy storage of baby teeth.
