What does the Tooth Fairy want children's teeth FOR?

I can only think of nightmarish answers.

Does she eat them?

Does she build a castle out of them?

Is it because if a witch gets a part of your body the witch can curse you, and the tooth fairy's job is to keep you safe from that?

She makes sets of false teeth for elderly gnomes and fairies. Obviously. Occasionally for dogs, also, but mainly woodland folk.

To give to the new babies. Obvs.

She hoards them in her house in towers up to the ceiling. One day social services will find out and she will get the help she needs.

The Tooth Fairy(TM) is a franchise, good teeth are ground down to make tooth paste.

But some rogue elements in the company R&D dept. had been using plastic instead, as they claimed that "plastic teeth" do a better job at cleaning. Plus they were skimming of the best teeth to make their own brand etc etc. So that's why the blue bits are being phased out asap as they fuck the enviroment up.

I thought it was to make fairy dust in Rise of the Guardians. I liked that story, She is paying you for the raw materials!

they collect them to give them to babies! The Tooth Fairy has to press them into babies gums while they sleep which is why teething is uncomfortable. And also goes someway to explaining why the ToothFairy is sometimes too busy and forgets to collect on the right day.

AND you have to watch those dentists, cos they put teeth they have taken out under their OWN pillows, save the money and buy fancy cars.

The Tooth Fairy told dd this, they used to correspond quite a lot

DD asked for her tooth back (dentist whipped out a hanger-on that had been dangling for days) and retold this tale to the dentist who did not seem to find it as amusing as I The Tooth Fairy had. I blamed her father.

Teeth are currency in Tooth Fairy Land. Coins are worthless there. It's just a simple swap.

She keeps them all until the child has lost all of their baby teeth (in case the parents lose them) and returns them to the child in a treasure box.

DH informs me that she uses the teeth to make weapons so that she can go out and fight all the other fairies. I don’t think we will be using that story for children when the time comes

People know nothing.
Endlewood, Mirabella, Ferndor and Flavella used to collect shiny whites from the earthchilds to build moated turret houses for the fairy emperor. The fairies flew during moonup time to see earthchild all snuggly wrapped in comfy snoozlesoft. If they found holes in shiny whites they would get eyefill and the world would get wet.

They're used to build the fairy towns.

When I was young I wrote a letter to the tooth fairy. She replied saying they use the teeth as paving stones in fairyland ☺️

Everything in Tooth Fairy land is made of teeth. And they make them into fairy dust as well.

I love the idea that they take them and give them to babies.

She makes them into piano keys.

I had a lovely book when I was younger, a nicely illustrated anthology of stories and there was one about the tooth fairy and it said she made the teeth in to pearls!

Time for you all to settle in for your annual (surely?) viewing or reading of The Hogfather.

The Tooth fairy’s castle is made of teeth, with plenty more in cabinets in infinite rooms. The job of tooth fairy-ing is carried out by franchisees, managed by a reformed bogeyman.

A contract has been taken out on the Hogfather by the Auditors (the chief civil servants of the universe). They hate the fact humans believe in random magical figures, it messes with the neat logical way they run things.

A group of thieves, a locksmith and a wizard, lead by an accredited Assasin, attempt to gain control of human minds through the collected teeth.

My DGD thought she put them on glass shelves in her castle.
DGS said “She wouldn’t have room for every ones teeth in the whole word .All fairies have a magic wand, she touches the tooth with her wand and it turns into a pound coin.”
He had obviously given the matter much thought.
