It's the Christmas season for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and so I'm bringing you an "Advent calendar" with a scene or two each day of what the Playmoland people are getting up to in the run up to Christmas.

Today in Lowbeach-on-Sea, Marta and her son Franz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

Posting early as am off to work soon.

Today Marta and Franz are doing some Christmas baking.

Marta takes the cinnamon buns out of the oven.

And they have made little Christmas biscuits too.

I want some Playmobil cinnamon buns! I love this thread.

I have to say going through a hellish time just now but this cheers me up so much x

@SoMuchToBits I was inspired to create a scene of my own. A one off and not up to your amazing standards but thought it might make you giggle

Oh this is such a lovely, gentle hug of a thread. My DD is only 2 so too young for Playmobil yet but I'm looking forward to proper toys

This is fabulous, thanks so much for doing it. I have always loved playmobile and had lots as a child, my mum gave all of it away to my younger cousin when I was about 14 and i was gutted. It was years of birthday and Christmas presents. When i visited my cousin the following year, i asked where the playmobile was and my aunt said they had given it away as my cousin wasn't that bothered about it. Am still furious 30 years later! This is helping me get over my demons! (clearly a long way to go!)

DId anyone else notice in the DM (come on, we all scroll down it!) that another minor Royal is getting married next year in St Georges. Not putting pressure on you at all OP, but there might not be many more opportunities for a few years to score a royal wedding hat trick.

Who is left to get married? Beatrice?

Well, we have masses of Playmobil from ds's many years collecting it, but I have also added a few more sets recently for scenarios!

brizzle no, even more minor! I think it is the daughter of the Kents. I believe the poor girl is so minor she has to actually work.

Lady Gabriella Windsor is about 50th in line for the throne so yes, very minor!

I'm going to miss this thread after Xmas. @Somuchtoobits needs to be on the NHS payroll as part of their mental health strategy.

Hah, I am already on the NHS payroll in real life! But not for making Playmo scenes, although I think that might be more fun than my actual job!

Anyway, today it's panto time! This year's pantomime is Cinderella. Poor Cinderella has to work so hard, but at least she has her friend Buttons to talk to.

The wicked stepmother orders Cinderella to help the ugly sisters get ready for the ball.
