... and so I'm bringing you an "Advent calendar" with a scene or two each day of what the Playmoland people are getting up to in the run up to Christmas.

Today in Lowbeach-on-Sea, Marta and her son Franz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

You are all more than kind! There will be more photos tomorrow, and even a few on Christmas Day. Thank you all for following the thread.

Oh no, I've just realised we're nearly at the end of Advent! I will really miss the wonderful scenes.

SoMuchToBits · 24/12/2018 09:01

Today in Eastgate Park, a small band is playing Christmas carols in front of the Christmas tree, and people are joining in singing.

Thank you so much for making this @SoMuchToBits ! I've loved following along Smile

KnittingSister · 24/12/2018 09:18

Yes, I was thinking last night that there wouldn't be any more Playmobil Sad
I would definitely pay to come to the exhibition of photos and scenes Grin

viques · 24/12/2018 11:23

Thank you somuch , your play mobile scenes are such fun. Your creativity and imagination is amazing, and a special thankyou for spending so much of your time to give total strangers on the internet a warm fuzzy feeling. If I could send you a couple of freshly baked mince pies (very special, they have a frangipane topping) down the internet I would.

Have a lovely Christmas , I hope the Lowbeach on Sea supermarket Christmas deliveries arrived on time for you and the other residents, I can't imagine that any of you (them) have had time to do your (their) own shop, what with walking, sledging, choirs, nativities, grottos, baking and all the other exciting activities that have kept them busy and us amused.

shouldwestayorshouldwego · 24/12/2018 16:23

How are the queues in the supermarket? I hope they have put the sprouts on already.

Have really enjoyed your advent calendar. Hope you and the Playmobil have a great Christmas.

SoMuchToBits · 24/12/2018 20:34

I don't have a Playmo supermarket, only the grocery delivery van! Ds (who is now 18) has been rearranging my Playmo nativity scene this evening...

I've loved every minute of it.Smile
Merry Christmas! Glitterball

shouldwestayorshouldwego · 24/12/2018 20:38

Maybe SoMuch ds could set up some scenes for the 12 days of Christmas to prolong the fun!

SoMuchToBits · 24/12/2018 20:40

Here's a before and after of my Playmo nativity.

Now there is a pile-up of animals (cat, lamb, goat, donkey, ox), the shepherd is in the manger being prodded by the shepherd boy, illuminated by Joseph and bashed in the head by Mary with a bag, and the angels and baby Jesus seem to be cooking a lamb stew...

That nativity looks, um, fun.

shouldwestayorshouldwego · 24/12/2018 20:53

Are you sure it is a pile up not an orgie? Maybe don't get him to do a 12 days of Christmas, Playmoland may never recover!

AviatorShades · 24/12/2018 20:57

ROFL. I blame it on the blue wine. The best, most well ordered family, will descend into a free-for-all after a couple of glasses of thatGrin

FuzzyCustard · 24/12/2018 21:00

Cat! CAT! The cat made an appearance! Thank you bits (For the cat and the whole fabulous thread)

Happy Christmas to you and all in Playmoland.

FuzzyCustard · 24/12/2018 21:03

(actually, I've just done the Crib Service at church, and it didn't look too dissimilar to your second picture....)

Eatmycheese · 24/12/2018 21:30

@SoMuch , along with others I would like to wish you and your family a heartfelt Merry Christmas across the airwaves.
Your creativity and wit and attention to detail is fabulous. Thank You so much for bringing the little folk to life in such a charming way. In a world that is so full of stress, technology and lacking in whimsical delight I applaud you for showing it’s not always the way.

Can we have a New Year Health Kick and Juicing Series? I’ll hsppily contribute to the leotard and leg warmer fund for Ulrike et al!

Happy Christmas 🎄 🌟

SoMuchToBits · 25/12/2018 00:01

It's midnight, and Father Christmas is delivering a gift to Norman the Foreman. It's a new kettle!
