It's the Christmas season for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and so I'm bringing you an "Advent calendar" with a scene or two each day of what the Playmoland people are getting up to in the run up to Christmas.

Today in Lowbeach-on-Sea, Marta and her son Franz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

At St Jonathan's Church people are arriving for the Christmas morning service, including some of the royal family. King Athelstan and Queen Edith are already here, and the Duke and Duchess of Waterbury have just arrived. The service is being conducted by the Archbishop of Greenchester, the Most Reverend Ishmael Rathbone.

There's a knock on the door at Marta's house. Matthias and Emil have called round with a present for Franz.

"Would you like a drink?" asks Marta.

Omg how have I missed this thread!

DS is obsessed by playmobil at the minute so guess what he's got for Christmas.

So far today, skiing Uncle 'Fred' (cos he looks like DS's hipster uncle Fred) has been mauled by a marauding pack of lions. I don't fancy his chances of survival with a trex about.

Oh and I DS so needs a playmobil Christmas tree. I've not seen one on sale.

RedToothbrush, we have had our Christmas trees for some years, probably about 8 years. But you may be able to buy second hand sets on eBay. That's what I had to do to get the child Mary and Joseph figures for the nativity and a couple of other sets!
