It's the Christmas season for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and so I'm bringing you an "Advent calendar" with a scene or two each day of what the Playmoland people are getting up to in the run up to Christmas.

Today in Lowbeach-on-Sea, Marta and her son Franz are putting up their Christmas decorations.

Suddenly Cinderella's fairy godmother appears! She waves her wand and Cinderella's rags are transformed into a beautiful dress.

Cinderella arrives at the ball in a carriage.

At the ball she dances with Prince Charming.

As midnight strikes, she flees from the ball, but loses a slipper...

The slipper doesn't fit anyone - until finally Cinderella tries it. It fits! The ugly sisters and the wicked stepmother are horrified!

Cinderella and Prince Charming get married and live happily ever after.

Ha, we don't need a royal wedding when we have taxpayer unfunded playmo weddings

DD2's been over for her morning check on this thread. I'm now removing the small plastic children playing hide and seek in my slippers.

DH is loving this as much as me. Brilliant!

Mini cheese daughter went nuts at this. There has been lots of squealing and she has fished out her fairy castle since seeing your playmobil pageantry 👸🏻🤴🏻🧚‍♀️

I hope Santa and his reindeer will be visiting Playmoland shortly?

We have Santa's grotto set up in the gym of the school at the moment (we have the huge new school brought home on a holiday from Germany).

I have to work out where to fit an entire polar exploration base when Santa comes - Grandma's gone a bit bonkers buying everything Playmobil related for the kids.

I was rummaging around in the loft earlier and came across the Playmobil. Was very tempted to take it downstairs.

Oh dear, Frieda has fallen off!

Dietrich takes Fritz and Johanna for a sledge ride, while Renate descends the hill on a snow tube.
