Anyone up?

I'm up because I had lasagne at 8pm and it's given me terrible acid reflux and I woke up with acid in my throat and feeling quite sick. Have come downstairs and put a crappy Christmas film on. Going Christmas shopping in the morning so hope I can get back to sleep soon 💤

Why are you up?

The thing is he tries so hard to be perfect ( not possible I know he doesn’t despite been told ) . He masks at school so they don’t see the real him at all. He is year 7 . Primary got him and understood him. Secondary have no idea. I have had meetings with Senco they just see he is academically very bright, isn’t a behaviour problem so don’t care.

He catastrophes it all . I have told him by tomorrow night it will be over but he just thinks everyone will think he is a naughty boy.

Ah, a fellow procrastinator, Shriek. I wish I could procrastinate (?!) this next nappy change. I'm sorry you're worrying. I'll come and do your preps, if you'll come and do this poopgate...ok?! Is it a deal?!

I have no idea what he will be doing in isolation . I have told him to take stuff in to keep busy , pass time quicker.

Shriek · 27/11/2018 04:35

Seems Primary need to write a report to snr and copy you and your gp in?

Shriek · 27/11/2018 04:38

Random question...has this happened to anyone.... Couldn't complete a postcode on an online delivery form the other day. It keeps poppi g up rubbish, well repeating what I'd written and I had to keep removing letters and starting again, but it kept messaging in red of a valid post code, when it was.
I dont know why,but I decided to use voice to complete it, and it only bloody worked?!??! Thats never happened to me, it was a random thing to do, but I worked, perhaps its a thing though?

Shriek · 27/11/2018 04:39

Well it certainly is!! I'd have changed nappies all day to have not been here today or tomorrow!

jobbymcginty · 27/11/2018 04:42

I'm night shift not getting any sleep when I get In at 8 and have to look after my very active 21 month old. I'll be up for over 36 hours when. I eventually get to bed

Shriek · 27/11/2018 04:43

Shriek · 27/11/2018 04:44

THEsonofaBITCH · 27/11/2018 04:45

Just getting ready for work, woke about an hour earlier than usual as couldn't sleep for thinking about all that needs doing!

MarieVanGoethem · 27/11/2018 04:46

Am awake as my spine is being ridiculous. Gah.

Starlight - could you talk to your DS about when it’s ok to tell a grown-up about bad behaviour by others? Obviously the current situation isn’t pleasant; but it worries me that if certain of his peers realise he won’t tell tales they’ll exploit that for all it’s worth & with the potential to get your DS into all sorts of trouble. (Sorry, I don’t mean to worry you, but could just see potential for this to problem to turn into something worse & would rather mention it & it be nothing than say nothing & your DS run into issues.)

Alwaysneedgin · 27/11/2018 04:47

Bless her DD has started being sick. Poor thing. I've made DH go back to bed and I'm sleeping in her roomm no point in everyone being awake!

Starlight345 · 27/11/2018 04:51

Yes Marie . I am worried about that too but also there have been s couple of fights between boys in his class . My son is not a fighter . I am worried what would happen if he told.
He also sat there in class crying . Teacher said nothing.
I haven’t even been informed by school about any of this .
I feel completely out of my depth here.
I have read the school behaviour policy . It is so vague they can do what they want

Shriek · 27/11/2018 04:59

See teacher Star ahead of any isolation, get report, and discuss all issues before allowing isolation

Oh baby Always poor love

Shriek · 27/11/2018 05:01

Marie sounds awful...do you do physio or anything? Mine responds well to rotation, or would that not even touch it?

BlackBeltInChildWrangling · 27/11/2018 05:05

I absolutely feel your pain, GreenTeacup Flowers

BlackBeltInChildWrangling · 27/11/2018 05:19

Well, now DC's been productive, and before the family alarms start going off in less than 2 hours, we're going to try to grab 40 winks. It's unlikely to work, beyond being occasionally horizontal in a dark room, but there we are.

And Shriek, we've got a 3 bag one here, so if you don't get approval tomorrow, we can throw it at the person concerned if you like. Grin

I really hope everyone gets a little bit of sleep sometime soon. Flowers

Shriek · 27/11/2018 05:34

Good zzz's wrangler that made me Grin. Hang onto it, there's nothing I'd like more!
Also thinking of 40 winks now, eyes tired if I'm not

Starlight345 · 27/11/2018 09:39

Thank you for the supportive comments last night . Emailed the tutor this morning . He isn’t in isolation now . No real idea what has happened except a pupil has told teacherhe didn’t do it.
