Since coming off the pill, I now seem to fancy the strangest selection of people. At the moment, it's my must-be-pushing 60 year old manager. I'm not yet 30. He's married. It's grossly inappropriate. He did an impression of Wallace from Wallace and Gromit last week and I even found that erotic. Help me. Please tell me about your weird embarrassing crushes and reassure me that I'm not some sex-starved weirdo.

I spend a lot of my wedding day wishing I was with one of the groomsman. Should have known that was an omen

cricketmum84 · 27/11/2018 22:40

I've just started a new job and one of the senior guys there looks and sounds exactly like Michel Roux Jr.

It's making me feel very weird!!

FannyFifer · 27/11/2018 22:44

Kurt Russell as Santa in the new Netflix film. ❤️❤️

PixieN · 27/11/2018 22:53

Strangely, yes to men in make up - I loved David Bowie in Labyrinth.

Also Peter Falk in Columbo Blush

MsMiaWallace · 27/11/2018 22:57

David Walliams lol!

bunintheoven88 · 27/11/2018 22:58

Orlandointhewilderness · 27/11/2018 23:08

Good god, rowen Atkinson in goes forth is NOT a weird crush!! I've fancied him for donkeys years! Love a bit of blackadder...!
And yes to Michael palin, also Hugh Laurie. Alan rickman was lovely.

Hagrid from Harry potter

Ok, you win 🤭😂

Anonanon18 · 27/11/2018 23:20

I have a soft spot for Jeremy Clarkson🙈

EBearhug · 27/11/2018 23:31

Fictionally, I've never got over Patrick Pennington.

I loved Pennington.
And Iestyn Mortimer.
Actually, I have had many fictional crushes. They tend not to let you down like real people.

For dead ones, I would like to offer Ned Kelly. Not in the homemade armour, mind you.

As for "Stalin, who knew?" Loads of us. I suspect there's some sort of message in that, warning from history and all that.

TwiceMagic · 29/11/2018 17:04

I think Jeremy clarkston might be worse than Hagrid. Sorry @Anonanon18 Grin

HotdogsareDogs · 29/11/2018 17:11

Can we have fictional as well as dead. Because Simba in the Lion King was FIT Idk why.

I'm crushing on two colleagues. Both of whom are too young for me.

Disclaimer - single again after a long time... Blush

JennyOnAPlate · 29/11/2018 17:18

A teacher at the dcs school. I can't speak to him without coming over all ridiculous and am now having to completely avoid him.

NotACleverName · 29/11/2018 17:20

Jeremy Clarkson? Goebbels? Are some of you okay?

If we're including people who are dead then damn, Jean-Michel Basquiat was a beautiful man.

As for fictional characters, I have a weird "thing" for Nil in Horizon Zero Dawn. And Aloy herself tbh; she's so perfect.

IRL: definitely would not kick one of the managers at work out of bed.

Athena51 · 29/11/2018 18:02

Alive I rather like Greg Davies, Si from the Hairy Bikers and Kim Bodnia (The Bridge and Killing Eve) clearly I have a secret thing for big bear like men Blush

My deadcrush Thanks to Alt J for that expression) is the WW2 poet Keith Douglas, he was heroic, dashing, he wrote incredible poetry and he was killed in 1944 at the age of just 24. So utterly tragic.

Make me feel less weird, tell me your most inappropriate crush.
mrsnec · 29/11/2018 19:47

Yes to Greg Davies and Lord Tumble!

I have always had a bit of a thing for Bob Mortimer. I have no idea why.

katseyes7 · 01/12/2018 22:23

bringincrazyback OMG yes!! Gene Hunt!!!

Whatthefunk · 01/12/2018 22:41

Robert Kilroy Silk...
Mads Mikkelsen as Hannibal Lecter

GreenMeerkat · 01/12/2018 22:43

I used to fancy my ex's brother Blush

Celebrity wise I have to say Joe Perry. He's 68 (I'm 33) but I think he is hot!

CremantDeLoireSocialist · 01/12/2018 22:50

Avon is not alone in dreaming about Vladimir Putin.

Also, if we're including dead people, Ernest Shackleton. Phwoar.
