I was thinking you need this to be a film OP!

Mum2jenny · 24/11/2018 21:00

You are amazing OP, just be strong. It seems you've got life sussed to meet your needs. Flowers

Seafour · 24/11/2018 21:16

Thank you all so much, I feel humbled not just that you've taken the time to read but that you seem to care when all the people in real life who said they cared just fucked off and never speak to me, I have a handful of rl friends all of them I've met in the last few years. I still cry when I think about those friendships, it still hurts so much.

I will do another instalment tomorrow morning, I'm knackered

I too am in awe of your story and your strength xx

Mum2jenny · 24/11/2018 21:31

Please take care of yourself Seafour, I'm sorry some of your rl friends aren't being kind to youWine if you want a glass!

TheFaerieQueene · 24/11/2018 21:41

Bloody hell Seafour. You are amazing.

mineofuselessinformation · 24/11/2018 21:46

I really hope that it's helped you to tell your story, Seafour.
I won't patronise you by over-complimenting you, but I certainly take my hat off to you.
I'm so glad you are home. Have a good rest and feel better. Thanks

Bobbiepin · 24/11/2018 21:53

Get some rest OP.

noideawhat · 24/11/2018 22:07

I've just read the entire thread & I'm totally in awe of you as well. Thank you for sharing Flowers

MyNameIsJane · 24/11/2018 22:09

Oh my, as you were telling us your symptoms, I was thinking it sounded slightly similar to my friend who also has Cauda Equina Syndrome. I am completely in awe of you as well as her.

Stopyourhavering64 · 24/11/2018 22:09

seafour you have had appalling treatment in the past....I do hope your medical negligence claim paid out a considerable amount to pay for such sub optimal care....you are a very strong person , I hope you are managing to recuperate after your recent hospitalisation

peanutbear · 24/11/2018 22:10

I've just read the thread

Firstly I hope you are feeling much better tonight x
My second thought is you can write, I was captivated it's a testament to you that you can live through all that and come out fighting.

All the best for a good nights sleep x

Frlrlrubert · 24/11/2018 22:16

Just read the whole thread, you are amazing Seafour Thanks

Cranky17 · 24/11/2018 22:27

Op, wow,
You have such strength of character. I really hope you are feeling better this evening.
Thank you for sharing your story.

Notquiterichenough · 24/11/2018 22:29

I've just caught up on your thread, and read the last few pages. You are quite simply amazing. And you write so well. I think you can consider us your new friends, and fan club.

adagio · 24/11/2018 22:29

Just read the whole thread...there are no words. I am so so sorry for everything you have been through. Your strength is amazing.
One to think on, with friends that lose touch, it can be that they are very busy, time passes and then they are embarrassed by lack of contact, think it is too late. They may still think about you often but have no idea how to reach out again after leaving it ‘too long’ assuming you have moved on and have better friends than they.
Take care xx Flowers

SandunesAndRainclouds · 24/11/2018 22:54

Hope you get some rest tonight Seafour even if it’s not proper sleep, just peace in your own bed without too many disturbances and bleeping monitors!

Andro · 24/11/2018 23:08

Seafour, you have some serious grit! Your story is not only, in parts a 'how not to' manual for the medical profession, but a serious inspiration to others.

perhapstomorrow · 24/11/2018 23:14

*Seafour" I have just read your thread and felt I just had to respond. Your words are so compelling and eloquent that I am hanging on every word.. I am in awe of your amazing strength.

I'm sorry you have lost some friends and been treated badly. I wish you all the best.

ChestyNut · 24/11/2018 23:14

I’m also here, following your story.

I’m sorry you were so badly let down by the nhs Flowers

ShakeTheDisease · 24/11/2018 23:18

I'm off to bed now Seafour but I do tend to wake up for spells during the night, so when I do I'll check in to see if you're awake. Hope you get some sleep though.

GaryBaldbiscuit · 24/11/2018 23:29

Wishing you well Seafour Thanks

sophiec123 · 24/11/2018 23:35

Just read your posts and really can't believe how much shit you've been through! Your husband sounds great and stuck by you no matter what his children say, I hope things have changed/gotten better between you and them? Keep posting!

Borntobeamum · 24/11/2018 23:38

Seafoue - again, I am In Awe of you. If you live anywhere near me - East Riding of Yorkshire I'd love to be your friend. Sorry if that sounds silly! X

ListenToTheWords · 24/11/2018 23:39

What an amazing, strong, inspirational fighter of a woman you are. I'm just in awe reading this. Such tremendous strength.

As for your "friends" - pfffft! Don't shed tears over them. Feel pity for them that they lack such a wonderful friend in their lives through their own fault. Shallow people.
