..... and what is the thought process (if any) behind it?

Between 9&10am on a Saturday, or between 8&9 on a Saturday. A time were always generally in

HarryDresdensLeatherDuster · 18/11/2018 19:01

Whatever time is available when I remember to book it Grin

JakeBallardswife · 18/11/2018 19:02

Sunday morning or late afternoons

Howhot · 18/11/2018 19:03

A balance between cheapest slots and when I can be available. Never on a weekend.

I prefer click and collect tbh, then I tend to do weekend around 10am

MyPatronusIsABadger · 18/11/2018 19:03

Whenever it’s £1 delivery (I do the 4 hr slot)

BiteyShark · 18/11/2018 19:04

Friday so all the fresher stuff can be eaten over the weekend.

Kelsoooo · 18/11/2018 19:06

Friday, after four pm.

Then I'm home. and we can have the nice stuff for the weekends.

I was having it on Mondays after four Pm.

But then I'd need to buy snacks for the weekend. So that didn't work.

frasersmummy · 18/11/2018 19:07

Sunday night between 9 and 10.

The theory is the house is tidy..uniforms ironed for the week ahead..food gets delivered we are all.organised for the week ahead...

It's a great theoryGrinBlush

PineapplePen07 · 18/11/2018 19:09

Saturday mornings between 11 and 12 so that I can have a bit of a lie in and catch up on cleaning etc first.

We've always planned our shopping Saturday to Saturday- it just feels wrong to do it at any other time of the week 😂

LegoMonkeys · 18/11/2018 19:10

Any weekday evening 7-8pm when I know I'll be in. Hopefully my other half is back from work to help put it away and it can be dealt with before we go and sit down for the evening.

I only get delivery every month to six weeks to stock up on cupboard stuff and pick up fresh bits when I'm in town.

LtGreggs · 18/11/2018 19:12

Friday at 7. We are in, had tea, but we're all still awake. Then we can have fresh (enough) croissants etc for the weekend. By midweek we're eating from freezer.

I do the plan & order on a Wed night, then add the forgotten stuff during Thurs...

Same time each week means that we maje friends with the drivers too Grin

JennyOnAPlate · 18/11/2018 19:13

Sunday's either 9-10am or whatever evening slot is available.

spacefighter · 18/11/2018 19:13

Monday evening so I have fresh things for the week and it's cheaper than a weekend slot lol.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 18/11/2018 19:13

Varies between when I think “I’m going to be very organised” to “crap I forgot”..and login.
Tomorrow late afternoon my next is coming as DH will be home with DD giving her dinner etc.

JennyOnAPlate · 18/11/2018 19:13

So that we have everything ready for the week ahead!

LtGreggs · 18/11/2018 19:14

My best investment was second fridge/freezer in outhouse so can fit in a week if milk etc. Hardly ever have to actually go food shopping.

irregularegular · 18/11/2018 19:16

Thursday evening 8-9. Used to be 9-10 so after children in bed but they are teens now.

Delivery pass is cheaper midweek. If I want special fresh food it will be for Fri-Sat. Unlikely to both be out at that time.

SeaViewBliss · 18/11/2018 19:20

I have recently switched from weekends to Monday around 6pm.

Onlynone DC at home and never know who is doing what at weekends so I like to start fresh from Monday evening and wing it a
bit at weekends.

LittleBearPad · 18/11/2018 19:21

Usuallly Saturday mornings. Tonight in about an hour as we’ve been away.

Mixedupmummy · 18/11/2018 19:26

I've just switched from beginning of the week to Friday night/sat morning. brilliant. I've been doing it all wrong for so long. as pp said fresh stuff when you can enjoy it. and so I can have in what we want or need for the weekend.

Lovelydovey · 18/11/2018 19:37

Usually early morning on a weekday - 6-7am. I am often up and dressed by 6am and if my turn to do the school run, leave at 7.15 so time to get the important stuff packed away.

missmouse101 · 18/11/2018 19:42

Thursday 6-8pm

Winterfellismyhome · 18/11/2018 19:45

Wednesday mornings. Payday

Creas35 · 18/11/2018 19:51

Sunday 6-8pm so I can order it Saturday and then we have everything ready for the week. We eat out a lot at weekends and when home use leftover food to clear fridge for Sunday shop.

Gazelda · 18/11/2018 19:54

I pay £36 a year for any slots tues, weds and thurs.
I book 4-5pm on Tuesday because I know I'll be back from school run and not yet out to Brownies. I do the meal plan and shopping list at the weekend in front of tv.
