In the midst of a too busy weekend here.
Just about to have a second coffee.
OH about to drive 200 miles for work, will be back at 3pm.
He has been working now 14 days without a day off.
I will be working too- but that's not so bad, I work from home and can keep half an eye on things while I work.
DD is home from University this weekend, but is also working, she starts at 8am, it's local so I will drop her off and go to Tesco early, may buy some food and put some beef in the slow cooker for later.
Then have to take my mother to church for 10 am.

So not much fun today.

What are you doing?

I'm at work until 0600, then a nice cuppa and into my bed, can't wait!

Longdistance · 18/11/2018 05:47

I’m up with dd2 (7) who is being sick.
Dh went to Twickenham to watch the rugby, he came home pickled. He can take over today whilst I get my jobs done out of the house.
I’m currently on her bed rubbing her legs and MNing 🤷🏼‍♀️🏅

mirren3 · 18/11/2018 05:47

I'm at work till 9am, a very quiet long 12 hour shift.
Home and straight to bed, then out to a birthday at 2pm, just glad I'm not working tonight too.

Goldensunnydays81 · 18/11/2018 06:01

We are having a bit of a lazy morning as got home late from the theatre last night. So think ds is going to watch ET in bed whilst we wait for ikea delivery. Then will prob go for a walk and a scooter this afternoon followed by a roast and homework this afternoon. Oh and a bit of flat pack furniture building if we have time.

kalinkafoxtrot45 · 18/11/2018 06:02

It’s 7 here so not quite so early! I have a diabetic cat so he needed his morning jab.

allthegoodusernameshavegone · 18/11/2018 06:04

We had a busy day yesterday, today I’m going to complete all my housework by 10 then cook a huge roast then chill

Franberry500 · 18/11/2018 06:08

Driving my daughter to be a judge at a gymnastics competition. Starts at 8, why so early on a Sunday?! Beats the time I had to take her the day the clocks went forward anyway Smile

Squeakyheart · 18/11/2018 06:08

Feeding DD 6 weeks old and trying to decide what desserts to make to take to DMs for after Sunday lunch. Possibly rice pudding, then cheesecake and/or Swiss roll. Trying to decide which one to do lemon flavour and which one salted caramel. There will also be a Victoria sponge birthday cake!

koreanqueenbee · 18/11/2018 06:14

I've been awake since 4am with DD (17mths) on our bed, she was the only comfortable one. Both Dh and I had our arses stuck out the quilt on opposite sides of the bed! As per usual it's Mummy that has to come downstairs with her, for some reason DH thinks himself more entitled to a lie in!

So, we have fed the cats, made her some milk and a coffee for me. Currently sat watching an old episode of Primeval! Lol

Possiby taking all the kids to the cinema later to watch the new Grinch film and then cook a dinnner.

The weekends seem to go by way too quickly!

motortroll · 18/11/2018 06:18

I'm up feeling sick! Combination of new meds and eating too much rich food yesterday 🙁 trying to get back into running after injury so should be running today but not feeling it!

My lounge covered in Lego as we're trying to sort through it so sine Lego building will be done today!

Then I have alllllllll the washing to do and 2 classes worth of assessments to mark.

There are actually not enough hours today!

My daughter ( also a student at University) teaches dance part time- she is working at the studio today as some of the students have ballet exams.
She is starting at 8am too.

I finished work at 2 o’clock and DS has just decided I don’t need any sleep so we are up playing formula one games. I’ll be back at work for 2 o’clock so I’d like to walk the dog, make lunch and snuggle on the sofa before that. Just a nice chilled morning.

NoWaterOnlyWine · 18/11/2018 06:26

I'm on annual leave for a week and a half now Grin so I should be celebrating. Instead I'm up because DS has a cold and has been screaming his head off half the night, DH has D&V, and I have tonsillitis.

Can't see us doing much today to be honest! Trying to persuade DS to go back to sleep so I can have a lie in.

Hope everyone else has a fabulous Sunday though Smile

chickensaresafehere · 18/11/2018 06:27

Got woke up by dd1 coming in from partying at 1.30am to bad period pains. Managed to drift off again but they (period pain not dd1) woke me again at 5.45am.
So got up to make a cup of tea & take ibuprofen. Will take dogs out when it's lighter (hate dark mornings) as exercise usually helps.
Then might snuggle back in bed & let dh deal with dd2 (she has SN so will need her nappy changing)
Pick dm up from church later & bring her back to ours, for family Sunday dinner.

Your poor DD. Is it s bug? Hope she feels better.
My youngest ( 4) has developed some chicken pox spots I think.
More have appeared overnight and he has started scratching them.

I'm worried as we have no calamine lotion in and Tesco's doesn't open until 11.

nippey · 18/11/2018 06:33

Much excitement here this morning as the dummy fairy came and left a present for DD. First night ever without her dummy, so was expecting a rubbish sleep but actually was pretty good but up earlier than usual.
We are on the sofa now, I have coffee and she’s playing, shopping will be delivered shortly. Then dog walk, stroll into town for more coffee, swimming lesson and a lazy afternoon of films.

Anythingforacatslife · 18/11/2018 06:40

Taking dd to a dance class 70 miles away. It’s far too early for a Sunday.

Justanotheruser01 · 18/11/2018 06:44

Woke up early today, even though it's actually later than my usual get up time during the week. Started my period this morning so awake all crampy whilst dh is asleep snoring in my ear. Going to town later as dh needs a hair and beard cut and then I dont intend to do much other than snuggle my dog I had a horrible dream last night about her and just want her with me today (shes very babied by Me!)

BitOutOfPractice · 18/11/2018 06:47

Not much today. Bit of housework, bit of work work, general potteribg. Fancy making some soup.

Dp has promised to take me out for roast dinner later.

Juanbablo · 18/11/2018 06:48

Dh was out on his annual all-day all-night bender and so the DC's of course woke up extra early for me today. So I have to take ds1 to his football match then we are meeting dh for lunch (he stayed at his friend's). Then home to finish off homework and get everything ready for the week.

Dawsonforehead · 18/11/2018 07:04

Woke up 5.30 to feed baby, then woke up an hour later to feed again! By some miracle DD is still in bed but when she gets up we'll watch TV and get ready for church. After church need to go food shopping and want to do some bulk cooking today, as well as sorting out paperwork. Hopefully leaving time for movies later!

BogstandardBelle · 18/11/2018 07:06

Not a lot. Ds2s birthday party was yesterday so we are all a bit knackered. I idly thought about getting started on painting our hall but having just read (and chortled at) the «household mishaps» thread I don’t think I will be quite so spontaneous ! So probably the usual of lazy pancake breakfast, helping with homework, sort out meals for the week etc. DH always has work to do (teacher) so I’ll pribably tick off the exercise and fresh air box by taking boys to the park for skateboard practice. Then a Dr Who fest this afternoon: none of us have ever seen the Ecclestone / Tennant series, so we are ploughing through those ;-) bonne dimanche à tous.

happypotamus · 18/11/2018 07:09

DD2 decided sleep was unnecessary. Today I will take DDs to church, then we are going to in-laws for dinner. Also have to get DD1 to do some homework, clean up the house, wash DDs' hair.

Awks · 18/11/2018 07:11

Meeting a friend for coffee and cake by the sea, walking the dog and doing some baking and house stuff. Lovely day which is beginning with a cuppa in bed whilst mnetting

babysharkah · 18/11/2018 07:13

Just having coffee before getting up and getting me and 8 yo dts ready for church. Then straight on to a birthday meal so need to do my hair and theirs before we go. Wouldn't normally be up quite so early on a Sunday!
