DD assaulted in primary school

Yesterday DD's headteacher called me in because a boy in her class had stuck his hand down her trousers (witnessed by other children. I was told that on further questioning my DD reported that it wasn't the first time. She's said that it's been happening almost daily but she was too scared to tell and didn't want to get in trouble. Obviously I'm devastated for her but I'm also angry. Has someone who's been in a similar position got any advice of steps to take? Thanks

MsTSwift How is suing going to help anyone, most of all the DD?

So it isn’t brushed under the carpet. If more people took direct legal action schools would have to fucking prioritise this wouldn’t they? Look at the case in today’s news. I stop being “nice” when my children are attacked.

OP wouldn’t keep her in the same school any more no matter what more they do. Can you change them? Write to the LA if you have to.

Oh and my daughter was repeatedly and unprovokedly attacked in school by a group of boys (not sexually) we went politely nuclear and it worked. Upset the boys parents boo hoo. Your kids need to know you have their backs.

But the OP is currently happy with what the school is doing.
They aren't brushing it under the carpet.

I'm glad they are acting and have told you the exact actions to safeguard your dd and others.

It's still horrendous though I'm so sorry for DD x
