Used to work in a team with a fair few young people (early twenties). Although I was the same age I'd never go out NYE as it's so overrated and expensive. Someone had to work NYE so I'd always volunteer so I wouldn't need to work Boxing Day!

Boxing day. I always feel like getting out of the house on BD and no-one can be bothered. NYD you can have a lie in from the late night before.

New Year’s Day for me too definitely. And New Year’s Eve doesn’t bother me either. I would gladly do both so others could go out and enjoy it.
I do love Christmas Day and Boxing Day off tho. I used to work Boxing Day quite often tho.

Boxing day, couldn't care less about Christmas. I love New Years Eve. Am working the lot.

This year is the first time in about 13 years I'mwork shifts and won't have to work one of the bank holidays. I always preferred working new years day.

The good news is DH is on call from Xmas eve for the week.
