New Years Day. Boxing Day is a lie in after the madness of Christmas Day sort of day.

Leeds2 · 17/11/2018 15:25

New Year's Day.

RoseMartha · 17/11/2018 15:28

New years

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 17/11/2018 15:30

New Year’s Day.

It wouldn’t be the end of the world if I worked Boxing Day though.

I’d hate to work Christmas Day.

BearSoFair · 17/11/2018 15:42

New Year. We always see family on Boxing Day.

ForalltheSaints · 17/11/2018 15:45

New Years Day. As I do not host Christmas and would not have trains to get me back for Boxing Day.

blueskiesandforests · 17/11/2018 15:52

I'm working from 4pm new years eve til 6am boxing day.

We're a team of 8 and at least one of us has to be working 24/7/365

3 people volunteered for Christmas day through to 26th! Nobody volunteered for NYE to NYD.

I'm not bothered about either for myself but have young kids.

We get bank holiday pay so a lot of volunteers for most bank holidays.

blueskiesandforests · 17/11/2018 15:53

*4pm Nye til 6am NYD.

AssassinatedBeauty · 17/11/2018 15:56

New Years Day.
Not fussed about New Year at all.

Birdsgottafly · 17/11/2018 16:11

NYD, that way I could avoid any parties.

I had the choice this year and went for Christmas night-boxing day morning, because I don't have any NYE gatherings to avoid.

Chesneyhawkes1 · 17/11/2018 16:17

I'm working New Year's Day this year. Worked it a few times. Much prefer that to having to work Boxing Day

stoplickingthetelly · 17/11/2018 16:26

Never do anything for NYE so would rather work New Years Day. To me Boxing day is family time and my children are still young so would prefer to be at home with them.

mostdays · 17/11/2018 16:27

New Year's Day, although in pre dc days I'd have preferred to work Boxing Day without a doubt.

bobstersmum · 17/11/2018 16:36

I always used to do new years day. I wanted Christmas day and boxing day with my family.

Meet0nTheIedge · 17/11/2018 16:42

NYD, then I'd feel less obliged to stay up and watch the shite that passes for entertainment on TV on NYE. Boxing Day is a day for visiting family for us.

EmpressAdultHumanFemale · 17/11/2018 16:47

New Year, definitely.

I always travel to visit family at Christmas. If I was working Boxing Day that wouldn't be an option.

userabcname · 17/11/2018 16:49

NYD. I never go out on NYE though

statetrooperstacey · 17/11/2018 16:57

Rather work New Year's Day .

Vitalogy · 17/11/2018 17:00

Boxing day. My son usually goes to his dads. I like to do a re run of Christmas dinner on New Years day.

SpottingTheZebras · 17/11/2018 17:01

Definitely New Year’s Day.

BitchQueen90 · 17/11/2018 17:04

New year's day for me. But I'm really not into NYE, I don't tend to do anything for it. Boxing day is always family time.

Honeyroar · 17/11/2018 17:07

I wouldn't be that bothered about working either. I often work Xmas day and New Year's Eve though (am working new year this time).

SoyDora · 17/11/2018 17:09

New Year’s Day. Boxing Day is still part of Christmas... family, food etc. New Year’s Day is just a nothing day. Even with a hangover I’d rather work it.

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 17/11/2018 17:10

New Years Day. Boxing Day is my favourite day if the year so given the choice I'd always have it off. I'd work Christmas Day if it meant Boxing Day off.
