It says I have 19 out of 20, but I now can’t remember which one I’ve missed out! Anyone know how to check which ones I’ve already answered? Tia

Dottierichardson · 17/11/2018 19:53

I don't know a fast way but if you click on an image you've already dealt with, then that shows up...

CoolCarrie · 17/11/2018 20:01

Is the guy swimming a clue, or the sea weed or the seagull flying?

Thank you Dotti!

CoolCarrie · 17/11/2018 20:15

I got it, it was the red hat one!!! 20/20!!!

StripySocksAndDocs · 18/11/2018 00:44

Just cannot get the diving one and the hospital one. Came here especially for the clues. Still no idea!

PawneeParksDept · 18/11/2018 01:05

The hospital one is a non fiction

The diving one is the hardest, and without giving it, where is the diver going? @StripySocksAndDocs

StripySocksAndDocs · 18/11/2018 06:47

Ive tried various versions of prepositions + deep/sea/ocean and nothing!! Even looked in goodreads, but nowt!

I'm evidently stupid and doomed!!

I don't read nonfiction (well very rarely) so I'm even more doomed!!

Shall strive on regardless.

StripySocksAndDocs · 18/11/2018 06:50

Oh okay, just got the nonfiction one. I'd been going with the clue something a doctor might say. Evidently I've only known dishonest doctors as I'd been trying the negative version!

SnugglySnerd · 18/11/2018 06:55

Sorry just placemarking to try this later.

Howlongtillbedtime · 18/11/2018 08:12

I have got all of them except Gilead. I thought I knew but it keeps telling me I am nearly there.

So frustrating

Howlongtillbedtime · 18/11/2018 08:20

Punctuation issue Blush

snaggletoothmoose · 18/11/2018 08:22

Urgh. I've got them all except for the Gilead. It's obviously obvious, but not to me!!

snaggletoothmoose · 18/11/2018 08:26

Urgh! I a daft. I've just realised Blush

StripySocksAndDocs · 18/11/2018 08:57

Ah! Just got the diving one. D'oh!! Haven't read it, but did read the train one.

sofasearcher · 18/11/2018 09:05

Still struggling with the boat and the blimp!

brizzledrizzle · 18/11/2018 09:28

@sofasearcher - what is another word for bold? What did the Americas used to be called?

brizzledrizzle · 18/11/2018 09:28

I can't get the raccoon one for love, money, clues or goodreads.

ClashCityRocker · 18/11/2018 09:32

Ignore the fact that it's a racoon.

Whats it doing? And therefore what is it?

StripySocksAndDocs · 18/11/2018 09:32

Don't concentrate on it being a raccoon (only the markings are important). It's actions are what you need to concentrate on.

sofasearcher · 18/11/2018 09:33

Got it! For some reason I associated that phrase more with Australia etc than America. Thanks!

Clawdy · 18/11/2018 10:39

The racoon is doing something illegal with the books.

brizzledrizzle · 18/11/2018 10:56

Thanks, I got the raccoon one - I should have worked it as I've read the book.

I didn't save my progress and can't get the boat one despite trying variations of the title based on where it is and what is on the boat; I've got the exact title.

CoolCarrie · 18/11/2018 12:27

The boat one, what is on the stern of the boat, don’t worry about the colour of it, just what it is, the boat is on a huge piece of water, not an ocean, but another word for it, and Mary, mother of Jesus is often has church’s named after her using this term, churches near large expanse of water. HTH

The author shares his surname with a female singer who famously shaved her head and covered a prince song.
