Just made a coffee and back to bed. What are you doing today?

I will go to Morrisons with OH around 8.30, may get some breakfast and back before everyone is awake.

I have some work to do at some point ( I work from home so not too much trouble), habe to take my mother to church, and DD to Costas and Tescos for food shopping for her- she is at University in student accommodation, but home for the weekend.
OH will be cooking dinner, and otherwise just an at home relaxed day.

Up at 5 am with poorly ds. We are going to a family meal today but think I will be staying at home with him! Games, books and tv depending on how he feels.

FormerlyFrikadela01 · 11/11/2018 06:41

On my way to work. I hate working Sunday mornings. None of the patients can be bothered getting out of bed (mental health hospital) and I don't blame them.

Carolcool · 11/11/2018 06:46

9mo dd woke at 5.17 on my morning to get up! I work and DP is a SAHD.

She got up at 7.15 yesterday for him!! Not fair!

I'm debating getting him up at 7.30 and going back to bed... Would that BU??

Secretsquirrel101 · 11/11/2018 06:47

Going to church later. Not what I’d normally be doing but DP sometimes asks I go with him. Then a roast with his parents, my mum and sister to discuss our upcoming wedding. That’s about it Grin

ILoveAutum · 11/11/2018 06:47

Morrisons at 8:30? None of the supermarkets open until 10 around here (SE England).

How is DD enjoying Uni?

Do you take your Mum to church every week? Do you stay?

I’m renovating the house. Once it’s daylight I need to decide if I’m sanding the previous coat or if I’m just going to paint the bathroom ceiling again (for the third time because despite using Dulux Bathroom paint, which is as thick as treacle) I think I could still see patches last night. If it needs a 3rd coat it’ll mean yet another trip to B&Q. Deep sigh.

Plus some housework, laundry etc

I’d really like to pull the duvet up & hibernate, but I can’t as it’ll throw my sleep out for days/weeks and I need the bloody bathroom finished!

...can we swap?

Mailfuckoff · 11/11/2018 06:49

Dc are cubs so we will be going to church for the remembrance service. Then dh and dc will be going for lunch with his parents (I'm invited but don't fancy it) so I've got ironing and watching crap telly

SoleBizzz · 11/11/2018 06:51

DS is away. I been watching films all night and just got into bed.

dancemom · 11/11/2018 06:52

Still in bed currently but I'll be going to the gym when it open at 9am.

Then home for some housework and ironing and hopefully some time to Netflix before a friend comes over later.

Not ready for it to be Monday tomorrow 🙈

littlepooch · 11/11/2018 06:52

I got up at 5.30 to feed the baby and decided to stay up and get on with laundry, bottle washing, feeding the cat etc.
Now having a cup of tea and enjoying the peace before my older 2 get up!

We are off shoe shopping as soon as the shops open -DD1 needs boots and wellies and DD2 needs her first ever pair of shoes!
Then MIL is coming round later as it's my DD1 birthday tomorrow and she won't see her.
This evening ive got to blow up balloons, wrap presents and decorate the sitting room for her ready for the morning :).

CraftyGin · 11/11/2018 06:52

Main thing is church. I go every week, but today is a biggie.

JimmyJones · 11/11/2018 06:53

Ooh I’m going to get a coffee and come back to bed, you’re giving me ideas!

DD has a friend coming over to play, then this afternoon we’re going to another friend of hers for a small celebration with kids & parents. We’re hoping to send the kids out into the garden to play in the gloom while the adults stay inside with a Wine or Brew Grin

And I have to clean the bloody house as well!

JimmyJones · 11/11/2018 06:54

My house that is, not the friend’s house Grin

Napssavelives · 11/11/2018 06:54

Ds is doing a remembrance parade with beavers this morning. Will need to go food shopping after lunch, tidying, ironing the usual Sunday stuff

Donthugmeimscared · 11/11/2018 06:55

Having a peaceful breakfast before getting the kids up and youngest ready for cubs remembrance service.

jmscp2015 · 11/11/2018 06:56

Up at 6 with DD, DP scared the absolute crap out of me by knocking on the door just after I'd come downstairs as he's come home from work poorly. Never had a sick day in 3 years of this job so must be ill, I've sent him back to bed so it's looking like a pj day for all. Might take DD to the park later to stop us getting cabin fever if the weather perks up.

SpeckledyHen · 11/11/2018 06:56

My son is also home from uni for the weekend but has been out with friends and staying over . I’ll pick him up and take him to do a food shop to take back too ! Then home just to relax - I like to keep Sunday as a day of rest with no chores , just social stuff .
Went out Friday night with friends then to football and the cinema last night so looking forward to googling holidays and other important stuff :)

JudyDenchsBloomers · 11/11/2018 06:58

Up early as driving to Heathrow in an hour or so, ready to catch a flight to the States to see DH family for a couple of weeks. It's going to be a long day..

ThisIsNotARealAvo · 11/11/2018 06:58

Don't know why I'm awake as I don't have to be up and everyone is still in bed. I'm going to the gym this morning for the first time in a while, then home to make a spinach lasagne which I've been craving.

It's going to be rubbish weather here today so that will probably be about it.

ILoveAutum · 11/11/2018 07:01

Kew. Poor DS (and you!). How old is he? Frankly, I’d prefer to stay home so even if he is up to the family lunch, I might claim he’s not Blush

FF. Working Sunday (which I sometimes do too) just feels wrong, despite not having a single religious bone in my body. I think I’ll stick with my bathroom, at least I can grumble about it, I don’t have to slap on a happy face. Hope your day isn’t too bad.

Carol. DD obviously wanted to spend more time with you! 😊
Little bugger, can you nap when she does this morning? Sad to say, but yes, YWBU to wake DP.

Secret. Why does DF want you to go to church with him? Do you mind? I don’t have a religious bone in my body, the answer would be ‘No’ and him asking after having been told ‘No’, but would be a deal breaker....if we’d even got that far. I’m not sure how couples get along when one is religious and the other isn’t (I realise you might be, just not church going).

CormoranStrike · 11/11/2018 07:04

I’m hoping to get to a sung Mass at Catedrale San Marco in Venice Smile

ILoveAutum · 11/11/2018 07:09

Oh I’d momentarily forgotten it’s Remembrance Day, I’ll definitely be going to the parade. Even if it’s still tipping down, someone on the radio yesterday said they’ll only go if it’s not raining...total disconnect if you ask me.

Lots of people having nice days 😊😊

PlainVanilla · 11/11/2018 07:09

Was at a wedding yesterday. Family lunch at my sister's and then flight home to Europe & back to civilisation, as I know it.

Crunchymum · 11/11/2018 07:12

9mo woke half an hour ago so she's in bed with me and the 3yo.

Poor DP ended up on the bottom bunk last night as 3yo came in with me and he said we looked so cosy he didn't want to waken us.

I'll let him have a lay in today!!

No plans. Will have the Rememberance Service on the TV but today will be ironing / homework / general chores.

Making soy, ginger and garlic sticky pork for dinner and then hopefully DP and I will get to stick on a film and have some chill out time as he is working away for a few weeks as from tomorrow.

EscapeToTheMoon · 11/11/2018 07:12

Eating breakfast, 2 packed lunches done. Waiting for a text to say if a football match is cancelled. Its a 2 hour drive and im hoping its gonna come in the next hour.

So much rain over the past 3 days

8FencingWire · 11/11/2018 07:12

Iloveautumn, does your bathroom have a window? If you paint the ceiling in the direction the light comes in, you won’t see the streaks.

I’m up early because it’s going to be a very very busy week for me and my house is an absolute tip in dire need of a good scrub. I’m NOT ‘just saying that’. It really is.
But I’m going out for the day. So got up at 6.30, dishwasher and washing machine on, I’m drinking a quick coffee before I tackle the mess.
