Just made a coffee and back to bed. What are you doing today?

I will go to Morrisons with OH around 8.30, may get some breakfast and back before everyone is awake.

I have some work to do at some point ( I work from home so not too much trouble), habe to take my mother to church, and DD to Costas and Tescos for food shopping for her- she is at University in student accommodation, but home for the weekend.
OH will be cooking dinner, and otherwise just an at home relaxed day.

We were out till late last night so I wanted to laze about all day today. Sadly I have a tonne of paperwork to do, which I’m currently avoiding with a coffee and MN.

PeanuttyButter · 11/11/2018 08:06

Up at 7am and now I’m sat outside church (20mins away) as I’ve forgotten my keys to open up Hmm was too late to go back when I realised.

After that it’s breakfast with my husband, housework and then we are nipping into town to start the Christmas shopping

Cakeandmarshmallows · 11/11/2018 08:07

Entertaining a 6 month old who woke up very early!! Will try and avoid the rain and go for walk along the river and maybe check out a farmers market, try and watch the rememerence parade, baby depending. Housework and trying to create baby led weaning lunches and dinners!

DollyWilde · 11/11/2018 08:07

Off to church for 10 then meeting MIL and DH for a tramp around the park and a Sunday roast at the pub. Have been up since 6am - couldn’t sleep thanks to the rain (and a kitty who it was waking up too!)

fruitshot · 11/11/2018 08:11

Up with a poorly 3 yr old since 5, feels like I haven't slept.
Will go to the remembrance parade with my scout and take the 3yr old for some fresh air too.

drinkswineoutofamug · 11/11/2018 08:12

Off to the remembrance parade, food shop, and then odd job.
This evening I will be lighting a candle next to the photograph I have of my great great uncle who died on the Somme.

thatmustbenigelwiththebrie · 11/11/2018 08:18

Going for a bike ride and pub lunch with friends. Then hopefully an early night as I have been out every night since Wednesday doing various things and have severe sleep deficit!

Taffeta · 11/11/2018 08:19

Lying in bed with cup of tea
May go into village with DD for Act of Remembrance
Early lunch of Vietnamese beef stew which I made yesterday
Drop DS at footy match whilst me & my mum go shopping (she’s staying this weekend)
Collect DS
Ironing

catenthusiast · 11/11/2018 08:20

Woke early and can't get back to sleep so might have a coffee and catch up on strictly as we were out last night. Need to do a food shop today and do a bit of other shopping, plus loads of ironing... DH has promised a roast later though so not all boring! Smile

NicoAndTheNiners · 11/11/2018 08:21

Going to pick dd up from hospital as she has day release.

Coming home, cooking dinner for 8 as having family come over for the day. Have bought a Nintendo switch as a treat for dd and to keep the visiting kids entertained today so will watch them play Mario kart. Then take dd back to hospital.

Mummyofscamps · 11/11/2018 08:34

Napssavelives beavers parade here too. Prepping now.

MillieMoodle · 11/11/2018 08:35

I was up at 7 with DS2 (and about a thousand times in the night). DH got a lie in til 8 but has now fallen asleep on the sofa, after complaining he has a sore throat. We've all had breakfast.

DS1 and I are going to the Remembrance Parade in the village this morning. The first part of the service is at the village war memorial and the second part in the church. We won't stay for the church bit as we're taking DH's nan out for lunch. Got to pop to tesco for a few bits this afternoon, need to do the week's shopping list and order the online shop, then DS1 has homework to do and a swimming lesson this afternoon. Hoping to wrap some Christmas presents and paint my nails tonight. Not a particularly relaxing day!

headinhands · 11/11/2018 08:37

Made a coffee now back in bed. Made a list of the jobs i must do. Feeling stressed as dh has been pulling the house apart sorting electrics this weekend and there's chaos just about everywhere. Plus the house is piled up with furniture dd has bought ahead of moving to a new flat. 😱

SapphireSeptember · 11/11/2018 08:40

Was going to church, woke up feeling like crap. Sad I got as far as the shower before I decided it ain't gonna happen. Back in my nightie and in bed with a cuppa, and I'm going to try to go back to sleep. I've been hit with a combination of five things at once and my body is rebelling!

WiltedDaffs · 11/11/2018 08:42

Going to the Remembrance service at church, was just going to watch on TV but decided to go. Haven’t been to church in years. DC and DH are staying home.

Then back home for lunch, my parents are supposed to be popping round for a bit.

I’d quite like to fit in a trip to the village where my family members name is on the war memorial too.

EscapeToTheMoon · 11/11/2018 08:49

iamnot 2 minutes silence will be observed before the match. I will be on the bus at 11am and will have that moment to myself.

I wear my poppy. I observed 2x 2 minutes silence at my kids natches yesterday. I watched the service last night.

Happier?

BitchQueen90 · 11/11/2018 09:01

Going out for a carvery in a bit. Can't wait! Was going to take DS to the park but it's too wet.

youarenotkiddingme · 11/11/2018 09:01

Yes. I have also already attended a remembrance service. We had 1 Friday in the piss pouring rain and the local vicar made the address.

I wish I could attended today as it's the 100 years since the end one falls on the 11th.

I will be observing the minutes silence - but I can't get home in time to get ds to his meet.

BitchQueen90 · 11/11/2018 09:03

Oh and I have not forgotten about Remembrance Sunday. I'll be observing the silence and wearing a poppy but I'm not going to the Remembrance parade because 5yo DS won't stand still and watch it.

glenthebattleostrich · 11/11/2018 09:20

I've walked madmutt and sent some emails to clients (replying to them) responding to their queries and reminding them that Sunday at 7am not appropriate time for contacting me.

Currently in the car heading up the M1 to take DMIL out for lunch and then have tea withy parents (who are dog sitting while we are out).

When we get home it will be sort some washing, pack school bag and get prepped for work tomorrow.

VioletCharlotte · 11/11/2018 09:33

Lovely sunny morning here. I've just been out for a walk with the dog. Home now and having coffee and breakfast. Will drop DS1 to work at 11, then meeting a friend I've not seen for a while for a catch up. Hope you all have a nice, relaxing Sunday.

wombat99 · 11/11/2018 09:35

DH and DS are attending the Remembrance Day service at the church nearby, while I stay home to talk my mum on Skype (she lives in the Far East) and fold laundry.

Then we're off to a Christmas craft fair in the afternoon. It's a sunny day where I am after lots of rain yesterday and this morning, so I'm feeling positive.

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 11/11/2018 10:04

Gee Iloveatumn are you this much of a joy in real life Hmm

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 11/11/2018 10:06

Off out for brunch with dh and the three younger dc’s.
Dc2 is off to work and ds1 may join us (hangover permitting 😂) to go birthday present shopping

sproutsandparsnips · 11/11/2018 10:13

Going to watch the cenotaph, after hanging out washing, then take kids swimming as rugby was cancelled (we had planned a 2 min silence after game). Then go over and put all the hot dog rolls I had bought for said rugby in the freezer, hopefully iron the dry washing and have a snooze before work tonight.
Oh and clean the bathroom.
