Is it normal to only like even numbers?

I hate odd numbers especially double odd numbers eg teens, thirties, seventies. Numbers divisible by 5 are ok though.

I only like odd.

I've heard this before especially in relation to things like TV volume so I don't think you're alone but I don't get it! They are just numbers, how can you like one more than another?

I'm not an even/odd split but I can only get out of bed on a 5 or a 0.... (I can take other decisions on other numbers but not getting out of bed)

If you only like even numbers, how do you take joy in interesting odd numbers?

i like odd numbers better, I had genuine reservations about buying my house as it has an even number. Luckily it's a two digit number and both added together make an odd number so it's acceptable

I like tv volume to be even. But prime numbers are nice too.

I think I’m more of an even number person too but I do like 5 and 7.

I only like even numbers. They sparkle, odd numbers don't. I'm 47 and soon 48, when I will feel "right" again.

I find odd numbers spiky whilst evens appear as curves to me. I would always select an even number out of choice. My favourite is 18.

I prefer even numbers too. Realised that all my lottery numbers were even, so changed one to an odd number, as I decided it would be unusual for only even numbers to win the lottery. But it didn’t sit right, so I’ve gone back to even numbers (and no chance of ever winning the lottery!)

I was an even numbers kinda girl. I like 0s and 5s too.
I couldn't have the tv volume on the numbers including 1,3,7 or 9.
Then I discovered angel numbers as I grew up and now have a fascination with 7, 17 and 57.

Im like this with words. I like the height of letters to match, double or have a pattern.

Conformity may be the reason I like them. Interestingly though, I'm not a neat freak. I don't mind mess but my numbers need to be round.

Square numbers are the best. Love me a 16 or a 25.

17 is definitely awful.

Not odd at all. I also don't like spikey days of the week like Wednesday and Friday. Tuesday is a lovely round, smooth day though!

It’s got to be odd numbers for me. Really don’t like even numbers. Unless it’s a multiple of 10 (with an odd number!)

I thought it was just me and I was weird. So glad there are others like me (even if you do like even numbers - we’re nearly alike!)

44 is the worst number. I was so pleased when I turned 45. Bizarrely 88 is ok. Not sure why

Even numbers every time. DH, both DCs and I all have even birthdays. Not sure how I'd feel about an odd number date!

That's not just a feeling - a "weird number" is a little-known but official thing in maths! Google it.

And incidentally, no odd weird numbers have been discovered. The only known ones are even.

I particularly like the doubling sequence 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096, 8192, 16384, 32768, 65536, 131072, 262144, 524288, 1048576... That's as far as I know the sequence from memory.
