I’ve had one knock. I’m gutted

I’ve got my bowl of sweets and can hear them running up and down but no one is knocking??

And I didn’t give out pens last year either

No one here either. I bought in sweets today, enough to answer the door around 5 times but no one has came. My DS2 is 14 and only stopped going out last year, Halloween used to be so much fun! 

We haven’t had any here either. No decorations but we do have sweets. Just can’t be decorating this week as i’m too lazy 😳

I’ve taken to running out into the street to offer sweets when I hear a group as no one is knocking.

I haven’t got a pumpkin, but I have lots of sweets. I’ve only had one so far tonight. I was going to dig some decorations out of the garage, but I was too lazy. DS1 is away and DS2 is at a Halloween party so I haven’t really been on the ball today.

My kids would have loved pens 😀

We've had quite a few knocking but I've also just been out with my kids and we only go to houses that have pumpkins / decorations up.

I'm intrigued by what sort of pens you gave out last year?

I don’t even like sweets plate!!

fission today is the only day of the year you’d get away with chasing kids with sweets!

My carved pumpkin and decorations are in the window and I have a cauldron of sweets and little toys but only 3 lots so far. We live on a busy main road so don't know if that's why we never get many. But we did give satsumas out one year when we forgot to buy sweets!

I would allow my children out if I knew they would get pens and not sweets (mean Mum me!)
Around here they only knock at decorated houses.

They've all been here we are half way through our second box of haribo (50 bags a box ) ... It's only 7 o'clock

My DD’s would have loved a pen and wanted to go back to your house this year

Where I live they only go to houses with pumpkins and they are really good to sticking with it but I do live in quite a small village.

A steady stream of visitors here but they only knock on decorated houses.

We also have a stash of apples as D's got one last year and thought that was the best idea ever !! No takers yet
