a) because I haven't got a pumpkin and they are being considerate

b) because I gave out pens instead of sweets last year and they remember?

We only knock at decorated houses so I'd say probably A

I was preparing my pack of lies as to why I didn't have any treats (pregnant + cold). So happy nobody knocked 😊!!!!!
