Anyone got their hot water bottles out yet?

Yes slept with it last night and kept my feet warm all night ☺️ I can't stand this cold weather.

Yes, had it out since Friday and I'm a hard nut who sleeps with the window open.

I'm fact, I've been so cold I broke out the credit card on Sunday and ordered an electric blanket which I fitted to the bed today. Bring. It. On.

I do tend to chuck it out when dh comes to bed though.

It's about day 5 of hot water bottle chez Zebra.
Teamed with a summer duvet and an open window. It's just my feet that get cold. I'm pondering a heated blanket, but I can't get the 80's tales of pensioners burnt to a crisp out of my imagination.

Converted to an electric blanket 4 years ago & never looked back. It’s on and I’m toasty warm — bliss

My hotty bottle is the only thing that warms my feet properly. I cannot sleep with cold feet.

I've tried an electric blanket, but it doesn't work on feet.

Following a tip in Classics, I slept with a pillow either side of me last night. This drove bloodflow to my feet, which made them lovely and toasty.

@ShirleyPhallus I've used them for donkeys, but the last few years I've used DH as my heating source. He's not currently sufficient.
