Morning all, nothing to report today - have only caught a glimpse. Cg has adopted a new tactic of going straight outside in the morning and setting csb and cb to work, before coming in and making the tea himself and taking it out to them. Every time I leave what I think is a suitable length of time before going out to offer more, he preempts me and comes in himself to make it! I'm going to have to wait until they finish on the extension and start the kitchen.

He took me this morning to look at worktops which was very lovely and helpful of him but there was definitely flirting coming at me!!

Chocolate my youngest dc is 14 - I'm early ish 50's. Gosh that looks old written down! Last dc was a surprise.

Oh just seen messages requesting updates. You're all so kind, I sort of feel I'm letting you down with my ineptitude! Perhaps things will move on once Xmas is closer and festive spirit descends! Plus they'll be indoors by then so more accessible:)

Simple I know, this is potentially a very tricky situation. I like cg very much but, er, not in quite the same way as I like cb. But I can't piss him off in any way in case he takes it out on my extension (ooer).

I thought I'd hatched a good plan re biscuits. I bought a tub of mini flapjacks - plan was to let cg take the tea out, and I'd follow shortly after with the flapjacks. Reality was cg saw the tub by the back door and said "are these for us?" and took them out with him! He himself was very pleased - no idea if cb or csb were though! Thwarted at every turn I am!

I think the teeth were present and correct today but couldn't swear to it. Cg came in about 45 mins ago to say bye. I said I'd come out and say thanks and bye to the others. He said he'd already sent them home as it's Friday!

Anyway, off he went (cg) saying "see you on Monday". But - he's just texted me now to say he's on his way back with some paint tester pots he's had mixed up for me. Fortunately all my dc are home and I'm mid tea making so hopefully he'll see I'm busy. This isn't quite going as I hoped is it?!

A bit gappier made me lol! Oh it's typical isn't it - always the wrong person doing the fancying! Cg is a very nice, very kind man, and quite good looking I think. But no, currently no spark. Just the thought of cb (and his intermittent teeth) does long forgotten things to my long forgotten nether regions - apologies for bringing those into the convo!
