Does your DH or Male DP groom his pubic hair?

Just that really. I would quite like it if DH were to take a little more pride Grin in his downstairs area Grin.

He thinks it very unmanly to groom this area and is a bit neanderthal about it.

I have thought about doing the same myself and seeing how he likes it!! Shock

can't quite believe I am about to share such a private matter. But myself and my husband shave it all off once a week. It's clean and nice especially for other things 😋 might just be us. We are both under 35yrs. Don't think I have actually seen an ungroomed man.

ChodeofChodeHall · 27/10/2018 12:45

It'd be different if the actual penis was hairy.

Wow, that's a hideous concept

(I always enjoy how pearl-clutchy some of the non-trimmers always get on these threads)

Flower777 · 27/10/2018 12:45

Gosh. I don’t think my husband realises it’s an option! He is 47.

bitheby · 27/10/2018 12:46

Body hair is completely normal. I don't groom mine, neither does DP and we both prefer it that way.

bringincrazyback · 27/10/2018 12:47

He doesn't touch it, and I think I'd find it odd if he did tbh. We're both early 50s.

heiheithechicken · 27/10/2018 12:51

All off. Has done since I've been with him.
Now actually intrigued to see him au natural Grin

Darcey37 · 27/10/2018 12:53

I like it to be trimmed. Shaved seems to be a trend now. I don't like it - looks weird.

HRTpatch · 27/10/2018 12:58

My dh is 60 😀
Certainly not just for the young folk

ashtrayheart · 27/10/2018 13:05

DP is 52 and yes he trims.

BeTheHokeyMan · 27/10/2018 13:09

No thank goodness I like it natural! I'd run a mile from a man who shaved his pubic hair off it really wouldn't be my cup of tea Confused

SpoonBlender · 27/10/2018 13:14

Occasional trims - blade 3 with barber's buzzers, we both do.

Racecardriver · 27/10/2018 13:18

Ew. No. Fundamentally if he did groom down there it would look ridiculous in contrast with all the lovely ungroomed fur hair that covers the rest of his body.

NarcolepticOuchMouse · 27/10/2018 13:18

Yes, keeps it trimmed and neat. I find it quite gross if I'm expected to perform down there with the risk of pubes in my teeth. Yuck!

NoArmaniNoPunani · 27/10/2018 13:20

Mine does. He's 42

Notacluewhatthisis · 27/10/2018 13:21

My Dp (40 If she makes difference) keeps it trimmed. Says it's more comfortable. He hate when it frowns long. He doesn't save it bald though.

My exh was 43 when we split and he was the same.

They are my only recent experiences so I don't know if it's the norm or not. Doesn't really bother me though, either way.

kalinkafoxtrot45 · 27/10/2018 13:23

An occasional trim in summer is all that Mr Kalinka does. I’d be horrified if he took the whole lot off! Prefer to keep turkey gizzards for the Boxing Day stockpot, thanks.

Lauren83 · 27/10/2018 13:31

Mine just neatens it up with the clippers now and again, under his arms too

BengalLioness · 27/10/2018 13:46

My DH trims it down and does his underarms too. I wouldn't like it shaved (he's done that before and I've said please, no. It's too scratchy) he does it because he wants to.

SpaceCadet4000 · 27/10/2018 14:00

Early 30's, he chooses to remove it all right now but has had it just trimmed in the past. I don't mind either way and actually, haven't noticed in the past when he's changed grooming habits.

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 27/10/2018 14:01

I shaved mine off while drunk in my early 20s. Orthanc* without the Treegarth didn't look good. Also, itching and scratching.

*A figure of speech. IRL, an adequate sufficiency, as Rolls Royce used to say about engine size.

Flower777 · 27/10/2018 14:03

20 years ago I had a boyfriend who shaved down there. He was a chef and said it kept him cooler. Also felt it gave him an extra inch! Not that he needed any help in that department!!

MrsJBaptiste · 27/10/2018 14:05

Yes, he doesn't take it all off, just thins it out. Looks fine to me!

MaMisled · 27/10/2018 14:07

Good God no! It's all he's got!

Onlineslop · 27/10/2018 14:08

I put a lot of effort into removing my own body hair so I would expect them to trim it tbh. Not a big ask imo.

indieshuffle · 27/10/2018 14:11

Also, nope and thank goodness too! Natural suits me. I could not fancy the shaved look at all.
