I just had to share this with you all, as it made me cry with laughter!
Sitting eating lunch with my DH & I asked him if he knew what 'Fanny Gallops' are.
He looked at me with a dead straight face & said ' isn't that a place on Dartmoor!!!!!'
Bless his gorgeous lovely heart
What are some of the stupidest things that your DH has said to you?

In a restaurant, I asked my 16 year old son whether he wanted to go home to watch Netflix and chill.

His look of absolute horror confused me greatly.

DH had to explain ...BlushGrin.

My favourite was a conversation overheard between 2 American's in Edinburgh.

Person 1 : Don't you just love the Castle?

Person 2 : Yeah, it's just a shame they built it so close to the railway

Ooh! I say. Netflix and chill. I googled the meaning. You learn something new everyday. Grin

Papergirl1968 · 31/10/2018 18:01

I just had to google Netflix and chill too!

Glad I’m not the only one! Grin

@Shockers 31/10/18- 12:09.

Told my 18 & 20yr old grandchildren your experience after I asked them if they knew what "Netflix & chill meant"? They were laughing so much. Thought it was hilarious. They sided with your son's indignation. Typical!

Shockers · 03/11/2018 15:20

I wouldn’t mind Yoksha, but I don’t even know whether we have Netflix; I was just trying to sound cool Grin

Not DH but we were talking about wombles the other day and DS age 10 thought they were an adult 'toy'

Well, they do sort of go underground & overground.

A couple more American tourist things unfortunately, have many. On mid Wales train line - complaining view was spoilt by the trees (valley views - not crowding track). This summer: numerous complaining about essential repairs to Big Ben and Houses of Parliament "they could have waited until after our trip".
