...sitting in bed drinking a very nice cup of tea made with twinings tea bags. Treating myself to a better class of tea.

A nice box of praline truffles which myself and DH eat- usually we try to only have 2 each a night so it lasts.

Or I get myself hot choc and a bag of marshmallows and have one each night. I have a sweet tooth!

HalfBloodPrincess · 23/10/2018 12:54

Might not seem much to some but I love champneys bubble bath and buy myself 3 sets from boots every Christmas on their 3 for 2 offer. I only have 1 bath a week (obviously shower too) so they last a whole year.

TidyLike · 23/10/2018 12:58

Microbladed eyebrows (cost justified by the fact that I cut my own hair instead of going to the hairdresser)

Grocery deliveries from Tesco or Sainsbury's instead of going in person to Aldi

Mobile data top ups ... not that expensive and means I can give my phone to the kids on long journeys and let them choose music from YouTube (played via the car stereo with an aux cable) while they watch the vids

Occasional pre-school-pick-up trip to the pub with my laptop to spend the last hour working with an ale to keep me company

And most importantly, given it just happened this weekend ... paying to host my kids' birthday parties at the local leisure centre/soft play/etc so that someone else can clear up

QueenOfMyWorld · 23/10/2018 13:04

A celeb magazine every couple of weeks, bottle of good Sauvignon Blanc on a Friday.

MotherWol · 23/10/2018 13:26

Nice soap; you can get some really nice ones for under a fiver, and it feels so much more indulgent than a bottle of shower gel from Poundland.
A bunch of flowers
A chunk of fancy cheese, maybe with some crackers and olives
Good hummus (Sabra is my favourite)
A coffee and one of the peanut butter & jelly brownies from Pret
Pilates/spin classes
Tenderstem broccoli instead of the normal kind
Working from home -so I can catch up on housework-

KiplingAngelCake · 23/10/2018 14:02

Hardback books
Monthly flower box subscription
M&S goodies - Madagascan vanilla slices and Velvet Houmous (not together!)

JMAngel1 · 23/10/2018 14:15

Too many! I am a spoiled brat.
Cappuccino, new lipgloss, books ( I am an absolute sucker in Waterstones), essential oils, candles ( not pricey but it still feel decadent to burn them all the time) and bits and pieces from Homesense ( throws/cushions/baskets/bowls). I could die happy in Homesense.

easielouisie · 23/10/2018 14:15

At the end of long shitty days I buy a bath bomb from lush, go home and have a long bubble bath with a cold glass of wine.

Then cheese and crackers snuggled up in a dressing gown and Netflix. Total chill Wine

JMAngel1 · 23/10/2018 14:17

Ooh PomPom42, I love VS Body sprays too - I'm not allowed in there!!

SquiggPig · 23/10/2018 14:17

A few games of online bingo. Makes me so happy Wink

FurryDogMother · 23/10/2018 14:26

OPI nail varnish - I've got quite a collection!
A 'special' cheese every week in the Waitrose delivery
A good/unusual bottle of vodka every month or so - am not drinking at the moment, so I'm collecting them :)
Some Shearer Candle tealights now and then - I like Amber Noire and Frankincense & Myrrh - just lighting one now 'cos this thread reminded me to!

Babybearsporij · 23/10/2018 14:38

Sometimes at the end of the working week, I go to M&S and get myself something nice for lunch.

onemouseplace · 23/10/2018 14:56

Thanks to this I have just been perusing gin subscriptions and gin advent calendars!

Aomame83 · 23/10/2018 15:05

My favourite way to relax and treat myself is to have a hot shower, change into cosy pj's and curl up in bed with fresh bedding. I take a book, a fancy blend coffee and some dark chocolate or crumbly fudge. Bliss!
I always end up buying a new book when I feel like treating myself... I guess it's nothing extravagant, I just like feeling cosy.

tshirtsuntan · 23/10/2018 15:23

Going to Columbia road flower market once a month, bagel and coffee from the cafe, mooch round, buy a bunch of flowers and coffee beans and a loaf of posh bread from Jones dairy. Only out a couple of hours but feels really relaxing/decadent.

tinofbeans · 23/10/2018 15:25

Having a Tesco finest chocolate mousse when no-one else knows

spinabifidamom · 23/10/2018 16:03

A good book
Nice plants from a garden centre or shop
Time to myself
A massage

Mugglemom · 23/10/2018 16:11

I know I'm going to be raked over the coals for this, but I really prefer Volvic bottled water to tap and other bottled water.

While I wouldn't class it a "treat", it's definitely an indulgence!

Cambalamb · 23/10/2018 16:31

Posh shampoo and conditioner for the fragrance alone really.

Fresh flowers in Aldi-so cheap you can have a big one for less than £5.

Nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc chilling on a Friday night.

Large bowl of salty popcorn warm from the microwave.

Packet of king prawns and a ripe avocado.

RubyLux · 23/10/2018 16:32

Del Monte lemon smoothie ice lollies. I have an ice lolly every evening. Sometimes it's the amazingly tart Valencia orange ones from Sainsbury's (the Waitrose ones are very poor in comparison) and sometimes the Del Monte ones. Both gorgeous.

IamDrWho · 23/10/2018 17:12

I love "nice" bread

BarbedBloom · 23/10/2018 17:33

I buy teapigs tea, which is quite expensive but I love the green tea with mint. Occasionally a lemon muffin from Costa. I do spend a fair bit on my skincare too, but I get reactions to a lot of stuff so maybe not a proper treat

Orangecake123 · 23/10/2018 17:38

Nice tea.
Scented candles.
Ferrero rocher chocolate.
Natural soap.

Kemer2018 · 23/10/2018 17:40

Avegemitesandwich · 23/10/2018 17:43
