Technically, I've been on Songs of Praise also but the crowd so large (outdoor one) I was a dot.

PippaRabbit · 19/10/2018 21:55

Last year I was on Loose Women

Kerry? Grin

gizmomonki · 19/10/2018 21:57

i've been on most haunted on a vigil. it was all bullshit and we made loads of stuff up to make it seem scary. in reality we were walking around the cellar of s pub and there was nothing scary about it.

Alwaysatyke · 19/10/2018 21:58

I've been on Only Connect preens

Gncq · 19/10/2018 21:58

I've been on a Channel 4 documentary, wearing a corset and fishnets (not my usual attire!) in the background.

DuchessAnnogovia · 19/10/2018 22:00

Yes. I was at the Cambridge Folk Festival and they were reporting it for local news, and interviewed my friend and me. I'd totally forgotten about it until my DF rang me to say put the local news on Now! I did and started laughing. His words were 'I am ashamed'. For there was me, in my full hippy glory, talking crap and extremely, extremely pissed

nordstrom · 19/10/2018 22:00

Yes. I did a lot of work as an extra when I was younger. Have done lots of soaps/dramas and some films.

worcestersauce29 · 19/10/2018 22:18

A few TV news things and I crop up in the crowd on a few DVD's !!!

carrie74 · 19/10/2018 22:52

My name is in the credits in quite a few TV shows, and I've been involved with a few of the titles mentioned on this thread . I'm also credited on Phantom of The Opera (film), and have been in the audience of several TV shows I've been involved with.

daffodilbrain · 19/10/2018 22:54

Children in need, dancing girl bit

Violetroselily · 19/10/2018 23:07

I was stopped in the street and interviewed on BBC News - one of those segments where they stop random people and ask their thoughts on the issue being discussed

MrsMoastyToasty · 19/10/2018 23:14

Only when I was at school and only as part of the masses. Our school's founders day always appears on the regional news. It also appeared on a episode of Panorama in the 80s - something about state versus private education.

confusedmomm · 19/10/2018 23:17

I was asked to appear on the landlord show for BBC a couple of years ago, but turned it down. They wanted 'fish out of water' type landlords and I didn't feel I was right for it;

I have been interviewed for a podcast though.

attentionspan · 19/10/2018 23:18

I've been on the Antiques Roadshow, standing among the semicircle of people around the person whose antique vase turned out to be worth £££££££

confusedmomm · 19/10/2018 23:21

I do though have friends who have been on pointless; location location location; under the hammer; and finally a friend just last week stopped filming 4 in a bed. To show next year

Jjacobb · 20/10/2018 12:12

When my dad was 4 she was asked to present some flowers to a member of the Royal Family.
DD was interviewed afterwards because she was a bit of a scene stealer. After her interview the suddenly swung the camera and microphones round to me, I was mortified to be seen waffling away on the evening news.

EastMidsGPs · 20/10/2018 12:37

Inadvertently. Was at a football match, it was wet and freezing cold and the game was crap. TV cameras panned round, saw my fed up pissed off face and rested on me whilst the commentator made some pithy comment.

Many years ago DM shamed us all by being on local TV news, her and her mates camped outside a local theatre all night in the freezing cold, just to get front row seats at a Daniel O'Donnell concert. CV Gobby mother was interviewesd Hmm

EastMidsGPs · 20/10/2018 12:50

CV? Should be my

DH (far more cool) appeared in the audience of a couple of episodes of The Tube .. all linked up with spikey hair ... a laugh now as he has none 😃

ForalltheSaints · 20/10/2018 13:04

A few times as I am in a music video (in the 90s). Not on UK television for many years, but on French tv when someone stood next to me was interviewed at the coronation of Prince Albert of Monaco.

Oldraver · 20/10/2018 13:08

Only briefly in a Clubland cd advert, filmed at Space Ibiza

I was mortified, we didnt know it was for an advert as they sold it as 'seeking UK clubbers views'

Oldraver · 20/10/2018 13:13

My DS1 was filmed for the Real A+E, when he dislocated his shoulder for the 7th time while at Uni. He is well muscled and the very slight doctor couldn't relocate it. She can be seen practising and different move from a manual with a nurse...DS doesn't know this as he has never seen the episode.

He was away with the fairies on gas and air and morphine...and they cut off his favourite Liverpool shirt

Nunyabusiness · 20/10/2018 13:48

I was on a show called superbods on cbbc in the 90s and I got to play the brain

I also know one of the candidates in this years Apprentice

ManorMouse · 20/10/2018 14:15

Back in the mid '90's I was interviewed a couple of times for local radio in relation to arts projects I was working on - was in the local papers a few times as well for the same thing.

TV. I was part of a panel for some 'Yoof' programme but I have no idea if it ever got broadcast. There were about a dozen or so of us alternative/punk young men being interviewed on our experiences. It was a bit dodgy as the middle-aged male interviewer was trying to get us to out ourselves as gay whether for his own gratification or for a bit of controversy (this was Holy Catholic Ireland in the early 1980's) I couldn't say.

I was in the background on the evening news a fair few times when I worked on The Embankment in the mid '80's as I would pass the green where the tv camera pieces were done every day outside Westminster - my parents used to watch the news so they could see I was still in the land of the living. Similarly, when I lived in Dublin, I had a knack of being in shot whenever a foreign camera crew were getting "Local colour" footage usually to do with sporting occasions. I'm probably on French TV as the "Of course, not everyone is concerned about the soccer match" lone eejit bit when I gave a "Meh, don't really care." answer to them asking me who I thought would win.
