Harry and Meg told the family BEFORE the wedding

Just been reading in the news that the couple did NOT make the baby announcement to family at the wedding, close family including Jack and Eugenie already knew. For some it was the first opportunity to congratulate them in person. That is all. No announcement was made to the guests.

They probably felt they wouldn't be able to keep it under wraps much longer and announcing the pregnancy in Oz would give them a breather and a chance for everyone in the UK to get used to the idea.

Oh great but - what does it matter? I never thought for one moment they would make a big announcement at the wedding, only that they would discreetly tell the family. It now appears they told them before that so all well and good and good luck to them and hope the sprog is healthy and so is she. Amen.

Yes, I can't imagine that Harry grabbed the microphone just before the bridal waltz, and shouted out the news to everyone ! It always seemed sensible that they had probably told the interested parties by phone beforehand, and that the wedding was simply where people saw them and offered congratulations.

Exactly Anona I've always found the best way to get some attention is to grow another human being. I mean some people may choose to get a haircut or have a tantrum but to my mind they're just amateurs. I'm in awe of Meghan's organisational skills that she was able singlehandedly strategise and execute her attention grabbing conception plan to absolute perfection Hmm

Spend a week going round to see everybody, to tell them? The media would love that.

Eugenie and Jack live next door to the Sussexes in fact I think the two cottages are Semi detached and by all accounts they spend a fair amount of time together . I should think they have known for longer. Can’t believe this is even a newsworthy story. Not the pregnancy , that’s nice and frankly blessed relief from Brexit, but the timing of the announcement

Considering Meghan is showing, and the announcement had been planned in advance, they needed to tell the family before the wedding. She’s definitely more than 12 weeks. That April due date is probably not the correct one.

To some people it does matter - theres at least two threads where because a certain paper said they made the anmouncement at the wedding having a go at them

The reality is the paper have no idea what was said at the wedding but its journolists and editors just went oh thats the only time we "know" they've talked in the last few months so thats when they must have anmonced it. And people are having a go calling meghan nasty for spoiling eugines day.

They apparently cant walk 500 yards and tell their cousins and brother (they all live in KP) and apparently the royals dont have these things called phones i know its very odd that most of the modern world even have ones that they can put in theid pockets but the royals dont have them at all apparently

It’s her first pregnancy, if she is more than 12 weeks it’s highly unlikely she will be showing yet anyway.

People just love to hate Meghan. No matter what she does she will be disliked by them. She can't win. This has actually made me like her more. The crap she has had to deal with and now being pregnant, I can understand why it was planned to be announced whilst they were abroad and not dealing with the UK papers and people's opinions here.

Also on a side note, I can't be the only one who is finding Prince Harry more and more handsome recently!?
