Eugenie's Wedding Dress Thread - a small thread for the tiny minority of us who are interested.

Can this please be a pleasant thread? If you don't give a toss then please move on. I'm interested to see what sort of dress she wears. I'd love to see her in something that really reflects her character & I'm hoping for something with a bit of detail & not too plain.

I think the decision was made fergie shouldn't arrive alone and have to sit alone waiting I think it was actually sweet that the girls chose to do it that way showed they have a really great family bound I think

I agree. It was a very nice way of doing it given Fergie's history and also given the non stop conversation around Doria when she was on her own.

Andrew does come across as a good dad, and as a good ex-husband, come to that. In one of the pre-wedding interviews I saw, he gave Fergie most of the credit for how well their daughters have turned out. Also completely beside the point, but his accent is not nearly as posh as the other royals his age. How did that happen?

Just catching up with YouTube. James Blunt's wife always looks very good. Cara D looked circus ringmaster rather than chic. Beautiful autumn flowers and same theme on the cake. It really was blowing a gale when the guests were arriving!

Not read the full thread so don’t know if it’s been mentioned , but I was a bit confused when the grooms name was Jack Christopher Stamp , I thought his surname was Brooksbank not Stamp . Then it dawned on me ... !

I’m watching the sky news YouTube video of the arrivals- the audio at the beginning is just the cameraman and crew talking to each other and it’s hilarious in its irreverence.

[Whilst on one group] “Anyone we know here?”

“Peaches Geldof coming in the bubblegum pink”
“Peaches Geldof?”
“Wait no- Pixie Geldof”
“ Well clarified!”

“Bald and glasses- who is he?”

“Someone is gonna lose a hat!”

Not long after that they twigged and turned the mics off. Meanies.

Totally agree I don't like Andrew but he cane across well today I thought a proud dad who wanted his daughter to have the best day! Which I'm sure he was!

Other than that Fergie seemed cheery. Beatrice bumbling about as usual. Like anyone gives a shit. Bet Fergie could tell some tales.

Not sure about Robbie's wife, she has a face like a smacked arse.

HM and Phil did well. Though he does look like he's had enough really.

I really want Bea to get married now. and see another York wedding. It was excellent.
I think Andrew's accent has been formed by Years of being in the Navy.

I.do hope that Charles relents and gives Bea & Eugenie some higher profile roles. They have never had a whiff of scandal about them; the worst they've done is wear questionable clothes.

If Camilla can be accepted, then surely Bea & Eugenie can help with the Royal duties.All the other elderly Royals are well into.their 60s

He’s 10 years younger than Anne so maybe things changed during that time wrt how he was educated. I’m not sure what Edward’s accent is like.

I thought she looked absolutely radiant and stunning. The most natural looking royal bride (and couple) for a long time.

Fergie’s dress didn’t fit very well did it?

I am not a royalist by any standards but the security for this wedding cost about 1/9 of the amount the security for Trump’s visit. So this was money well spent by comparison imo.
