Can this please be a pleasant thread? If you don't give a toss then please move on. I'm interested to see what sort of dress she wears. I'd love to see her in something that really reflects her character & I'm hoping for something with a bit of detail & not too plain.

The dress was lovely, I'm glad she has a full skirt. However, it didn't look great over the bust area, why can't designers manage a smooth bodice? That tiara. Lovely, a bit left field. Meghan looked stunning, Kate lovely. Some of the slebs outfits weren't great!

PollyFlinderz · 12/10/2018 18:21

An absolutely beautiful wedding.

ThomasRichard · 12/10/2018 18:23

The tiara and earrings were perfect on her. Lovely.

I liked the look without a veil - different for a royal wedding.

Kezzie200 · 12/10/2018 18:32

Her dress was like mine! Except mine was cheaper and not so designer. Plus it was made by my aunt in the early 90s!

I loved it. Thought it really suited her.

MacosieAsunter · 12/10/2018 18:40

I think she looked absolutely amazing; we all love a love match, and this was it. I hope they have a wonderfully happy life together.

Aside, always loved Sarah Ferguson, such a joi de vivre, straight into the crowd when she recognises a face; I hope she and Andrew get married again, they've never really been apart. That shade of green was amazing with hr colouring, absolutely gorgeous.

Nice to see Kate Cambridge out of pastels, more striking colours suit her too. Similar for the Princess Royal - Jade Green is obviously this seasons colour.

Sophie Wessex was very understated, as was Meghan Sussex.

Pippa looked great too.

Peaseblossom22 · 12/10/2018 18:40

I thought it was lovely , very traditional , the only thing was that the sleeves were a bit baggy at the wrist , would have been nicer closely fitted . I wasn’t that keen on the bridesmaids dresses , I prefer them slightly longer especially for the elder one and the sashes didn’t seem to match colour wise . But I am nit picking , they were so clearly in love and happy she was radiant.

Thought Kate looked fabulous in deep pink , lovely to see her and William holding hands . She looks much more confident and relaxed in the last year.

beanaseireann · 12/10/2018 19:04

Eugenie looked lovely.
The dress was perfect for her.
Fergie looked great.
I'm not sure that pink suits Kate.
She's only holding William's hand now cos the public love H&Ms showing affection - I do know it's no indication of the depth of feeling a couple share.
Megan certainly didn't steal the limelight, which was nice of her.
Beatrice ????
I thought she was going to be maid of honour..
Did she stamp her foot and say no way am I wearing a bridesmaids dress- I'm older than you.
She looked more like mother of the bride.
I loved the Queens pale blue.
Children's sashes were different.
There was a beautiful young blonde woman (20's) standing near Princess Anne - she was on the Palace balcony at something in the summer too, so she's obviously Royal family but who is she?
QueenoftheAndals perhaps you know?

SillySallySingsSongs · 12/10/2018 19:09

If she was wearing green it was Autumn Phillips, her DIL who is in her 30s.

QueenOfTheAndals · 12/10/2018 19:20

Yes that would be Autumn @beanaseireann. I think she's probably closer to 40 than 30 now! I liked Beatrice's dress - lovely colour on her - but maybe it was a bit mother of the bride.

Clionba · 12/10/2018 19:21

Beatrice looked nice - bateau neckline! Thank you, Meghan!

QueenOfTheAndals · 12/10/2018 19:25

Kate wasn't just holding William's hand - she had her hand on his thigh at one point!

florenceheadache · 12/10/2018 19:29

actually stunning photo's and the dress looked amazing on her. the tiara suited her perfectly.

beanaseireann · 12/10/2018 19:29

It definitely wasn't Autumn. A much younger girl.
On the balcony she was so far on the right that she appeared in only one of the photos.
She might be related to the Gloucesters, but was not Amelia or her sister. Nor was she Claudia Winkleman's sister. She just might be a daughter of Lady Helen ( Kent)

QueenOfTheAndals · 12/10/2018 19:42

Lady Louise then @beanaseireann? Though she's a teenager not 20something.

SillySallySingsSongs · 12/10/2018 19:43

Lady Louise was with the bridesmaids and is 14

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 12/10/2018 19:46

@beanaseireann

Trooping the Colour Balcony line up.

All the family are labelled here.
could either be Gabriella Windsor (next Royal Bride) or Flora Ogilvy; grandaughter of Princess Alexandra

QueenOfTheAndals · 12/10/2018 19:51

@SillySallySingsSongs After Louise ushered the attendants in, she sat with the rest of the family. She was next to Zara though. Meghan was next to Anne.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 12/10/2018 19:58

How Gorgeous is the cake?

I had no idea she was getting married! Is she the royal who wore a hat that looked like a toilet seat to a wedding years ago?!

QueenOfTheAndals · 12/10/2018 20:04

No, that was her sister Beatrice!

CakeNinja · 12/10/2018 20:06

Oh!! Well I still hope she had a lovely day Grin
What headgear was her sister sporting today?!

MiniCooperLover · 12/10/2018 20:08

Having watched a bit of the catch up the Queen is very stooped over now bless her

MiniCooperLover · 12/10/2018 20:12

Oh interesting to see they held their service in the section between both bits of the chapel so it was the Royal section that actually struggled to see the service and not the bigger section like Harry & Megan

MiniCooperLover · 12/10/2018 20:15

Or certainly part of it and then they moved further in. Interesting to see the chapel was set out differently as I guess the guest list was less understandably so they were sitting sideways rather than full on which holds more chairs
