Fell asleep eventually about 1am. Am exhausted.

PinkHeart5914 · 19/10/2018 15:40

Hello owls

Curtains Hope work has been ok, Yay for week off!
Becca I hope your start to feel better soon, all this is really dragging out for you isn’t it.

It is Cake day as it’s friday so I’ve made chocolate orange cake and rocky roads, then a couple of friends come over for cake morning

Sunny and fairly warm here today so the dc are out in the garden playing. I’ve put a newspaper of the floor for Pinkrabbit to chew so she leaves the magazine rack alone but not sure she trusts my paper she keeps looking around suspiciously!

Becca19962014 · 19/10/2018 15:43

I've been waiting here all day for that!! Twas yummy!

Becca19962014 · 19/10/2018 15:45

Did you really think she'd fall for that?! She wants the stuff in the magazine rack and your cello to munch on! Much more satisfying!!!

Becca19962014 · 19/10/2018 15:46

It's been around three weeks now since it started, I don't have the pain when swallowing (fingers crossed it doesn't come back) but the swelling in my throat is really bad and effecting me sleeping and eating - not cake though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PinkHeart5914 · 19/10/2018 16:23

That’s what dh said! She wants the forbidden magazines and papers not the ones she’s allowed.

Yes it is horrible trying to eat when the throat is bad, ice cream is what you need but with diabetes I imagine that’s not possible. What about yoghurt? Although lots of types are high in sugar as well

GhoulishGremlins · 19/10/2018 16:25

I want a bunny! Haloween Sad

Becca19962014 · 19/10/2018 18:08

She's not stupid! She is very cute though!!

Yogurt aside from plain full fat not sugar free is out as well. You wouldn't believe hoe hard it is to find low sugar yogurt as it's all low fat and then full of sweetners or sugar!

How are we doing Owls?

We are going on holiday today (in a friend's static caravan at the seaside about an hour away from here). I'm excited but I really can't be bothered to pack...

Mummylin · 21/10/2018 11:15

I am still sorting out a bedroom ready for ds to stay for a couple of weeks until their new property is completed. They move out of their own house on wed. I should of done it before but didn't feel like it because I have no space to put things !!!! Now the bedroom looks like a tip with clothes from wardrobes all over the bed, drawers emptied etc. God knows what I will do with it all ! Trouble is I still gave stuff from when they have been here before and even my gs,s tow bar off his car !! Which Is under the bed !! Bloody hell. Have a great time curtains try and get some rest , you deserve it.

I hope you have a lovely holiday curtains just take the basics, hopefully there's places nearby you can buy some things.

I'm still unwell and really struggling with today's anniversary. It's really hit me like a ton of bricks. I've done nothing but cry. Combined with the effects of swollen neck glands and tonsil and due my period I'm feeling really shitty.

ThrowThoseCurtainsWide · 21/10/2018 23:17

So I've been assuming that 'lodge' was going to be code for static caravan. Nope, it's an actual lodge, big kitchen / lounge / diner and 2 good sized bedrooms, with 2 loos. We had a badger come up to the grass right outside our veranda earlier, he scoffed up some dog food, I've never seen one so close! Currently sitting overlooking the moon on the sea. It was dark when we got here - can't wait to see it in the daylight! Grin

ThrowThoseCurtainsWide · 21/10/2018 23:17

Been thinking of you today Becca Flowers

Becca19962014 · 21/10/2018 23:19

So I had to phone out of hours GP as I was choking and had high blood pressure. They don't think i have tonsillitis but it's my EDS deterioating causing my throat structure to collapse and though it's not badly swollen my huge tongue (EDS related) means not enough air is getting into my body.

I am terrified.

I'm really struggling tonight. I'm so scared.

I wish I could speak to those who understood but they both chose suicide instead Sad

Becca19962014 · 21/10/2018 23:19

X-post. curtains that sounds lovely!!

Becca19962014 · 21/10/2018 23:20

Sorry for needing support. Again.

GhoulishGremlins · 21/10/2018 23:55

Oh Becca Flowers

Is there anything they can do?

Becca19962014 · 22/10/2018 00:07

Not if its that. No. I can't put into words how scared I am. I'm trying to distract myself enough to sleep and it's not really working very well right now. I may drop off suddenly I'll try and pop back tomorrow. Have appointments and god knows how I'll manage them I'm so bloody tired!

ThrowThoseCurtainsWide · 22/10/2018 08:08

Oh goodness Becca, that must be terrifying. Are you under a consultant for EDS (is that Ehlers-Danlos?) I hope you managed to get some sleep.

This is my view this morning. This place is brilliant!

Becca19962014 · 22/10/2018 09:53

It is. I'm not no. I got a bit of rest. But today I've got my sodding period as well as appointments. That view is lovely!!

GhoulishGremlins · 22/10/2018 12:26

That looks familiar Curtains Grin I love staying in static caravans!

Becca, is there anything I can do to help? You're a great friend and I'm sorry you feel so low currently Sad

PinkHeart5914 · 22/10/2018 13:58

Curtains That looks lovely. You enjoy your break away, you certainly deserve it and it will be a nice little celebration after winning your tribunal. Lodges aren’t they? Your not on the Kent coast are you?

Becca Sorry your still ill and it must of been scary choking and the out of hours says it was just your condition. Hope your appointments all go ok. Maybe a picture of Pinkrabbit can give you a smile today

GhoulishGremlins · 22/10/2018 14:27

Pink Are bunnies happy on their own? Or am I thinking of guinea pigs that prefer company? Blush

PinkHeart5914 · 22/10/2018 14:47

Bunnies should really have a bunny friend but we adopted Pinkrabbit as someone was ill treating her and having her live in just a shoe box while they went out to uni all day. She had no space to hop or anything as the owner only had 1 tiny room in uni accommodation (they weren’t allowed pets so why they got the rabbit is beyond me)

So it’s not ideal being an only bunny but her life is so much better with us, she has a 2 storey hutch if she wants to use it, she can go in the house or garden all day, and the majority of the time someone is home with her ( if we plan on being out all day, mil comes and sits wth her) so she always have company and generally she will just follow or sit near whoever is home with her.

I think she’s a happy bunny but sometimes when she chews half the house or digs the garden up I do wonder if it’s boredom as she’s lonely without another bunny

GhoulishGremlins · 22/10/2018 14:49

She is incredibly lucky to have you, you sound like bloody amazing pet owners Halloween Smile
