How old were you when you met your DH/DP?

I'm at that horrible age where most of my peer group are getting married or engaged... fed up of being asked about online dating

I was 17, he was 21. We didn’t get together until I was very nearly 20. I turn 30 soon. Got lucky I guess!

I'm quite happy to be bored of an evening! Don't particularly want a big wedding or anything either, would much rather a long relationship.

Here's hoping anyway.

17, married at 20. Silver wedding next year.

He is my best friend and I love him dearly

I've had three "loves" first aged 21. Second aged 28. Third aged 32. I settled/moved in and had a baby with the third love of my life who I met aged 32.

I was 30, he was 26. He was keen to settle down, I wasn't ready for marriage. We didn't have our first child until I was 39. Plenty of time OP!

Same guy.... had a lovely 3 years in our teens until I went off to uni and then randomly bumped into each other again 9 years later... the rest is history!

26, nearly 27. He was older.

I was 28, he was 32. Had a couple of proper relationships under my belt by that point (and had had a decent run of no-strings singledom) so felt like the perfect age to meet 'the one'.

35, married 18 months later.

(He's older, and we also met on the internet but in the days of text only chat rooms and MSN Messenger)

Me too at 18, started courting properly at 26, married at 28.

Met at 21, married at 25. Still together 17 years and 2 dc later.

27 is the best age ever! Don't waste the year wishing you were doing something you're not. There's plenty of time for that later. Instead make it a year to find out who you are, what you want, what makes you truly happy. Then when you do meet someone you'll be ready and settled within yourself. Have fun too and don't forget someone often comes along when you're not looking.
I was 18 first time we went out, 21 second time, married at 32 and babies at 36 and 39. All good things come to those who wait xx

16, both. Got married at 26, 32 now.

I was 19, he was18. Didn't become a couple until we were 25/26.

I was 18, I’m now 27 and we have one daughter :)

Started working together at 28, got together at 30, married at 32 and two kids since ....

Met when I was 20 and he was 18, in his first year of uni. I was the year above. We were just friends until I was 27 and he was 25. Married when at 28/26.

I was 17 and he was 25 when we met. First child was born when I was 19, second at 25 and third at 28. Not married although it's been talked about. Will probably wait for civil parterships to be rolled out now.
