I'm at that horrible age where most of my peer group are getting married or engaged... fed up of being asked about online dating

I was 13.

Been together 23 years.

First date, I was 25, he was 30. Married at 30 / 34, first baby 33 / 37.

I was 19, he was 27

My friendship group is pretty mixed- one friend who met her partner at 18 and it goes up to the friend who was 35 when he met his now-fiancée.

18 (him 24) when we first met, ONS, we both had partners.
20 when we got together again as a ONS at first, then a few more times (he still had a girlfriend) then I fell pregnant (yeah I was very irresponsible!) and so we got together properly.
Despite him being on heroin at the time, we managed to get through that, another unplanned child very shortly after, got married, had another baby again unplanned...

Still together and very happy 15 years after that first encounter.
There's no way I could have planned or predicted any of that. It all worked out for the best but could have gone horribly wrong many times. Ce la vie...

Met when we were both 17, we had DD at 19, married at 20 had DS at 21.
Everyone said we were insane, rushing things, but we just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and now those same people think its sweet that we have been together so long!

Point is, do what works for you, because you live with the results. Have a family when you are ready an not a minute before.

I was 30 and he was a week of his 32nd. Married when I was 34 and DD when I was 35. Planning number 2 now and I'm 38 in Jan. We're online daters.

I'm 27. Every time I log onto FB there seems to be another engagement or baby on the way. It's really crappy.

I was 14, he was 17 together until we were 23 and him 25. Split up, never seen or heard from each other for 18 years then I sent him a friend request on FB when bored one night in 2012 (both single) we have now been married for 5 years and I gave him a beautiful DS as he had no kids and had never married (my fault )

I think people who continuously comment on other people’s love lives are incredibly rude and if I were you I’d be simply telling them to kept their nose out x

I have an utterly beautiful friend who used to date chaps who tabloids followed
they gave her excitement and instagram and Dubai and press attention all that shit

I told her to find the man she could be bored with

she has been with him for six years
they have two kids and she is utterly happy
and they are often bored in the evening

35 when we met, 37 when we married. Kids at 39 and 41.

Ignore social media. Don't be afraid to ask guys out. That's how our relationship started.

I met my ex when we were three years old in nursery. We got together at 24 and were together 10years.

19 & 20 here. Together 21 years now and married for 17.

I met him at 18. He was friends with my best friend's brothers. We started seeing each other when I was 22, married at 23 and we celebrate our silver wedding anniversary (25 years) next year.

We were 13 but didn't get together until we were 15.
