What do you spend your Tesco Clubcard points on?

I've collected the points out of habit. But here I am with points to spend and it seems like over the years the rewards partners have dwindled.

Nobody in the house really reads the magazines on subscription. None of the days out are appealing. I don't want a gym subscription or Denby pottery.

Pizza Express or Bella Italia vouchers.

swampytiggaa · 06/10/2018 12:56

Delivery saver 🙂 or a shop if I’m a bit short of cash 🙂

Wheresthel1ght · 06/10/2018 12:58

Bella italia vouchers.. Cheap date nights with dp!

Or kids days out. Last year we did Beckonscott vouchers and I think sealife centre or something like it

Rail card

Omega16 · 06/10/2018 12:59

I used to save them and have a couple of meals out at Christmas at pizza express or zizzi. They've reduced that now so will probably be delivery saver and family rail card.

NeverTalksToStrangers · 06/10/2018 13:03

I had planned on using them for a trip to London in July, probably on hotels.com, but now not so sure it's going to be worthwhile as premier inn cheaper. Most of the restaurants are Italian, which is fine, but not for every meal, and the days out work out cheaper with other deals I think.

I miss the Christmas toy boost. That's where I used to spend mine. Sad

xyzandabc · 06/10/2018 13:05

Either Legoland/Chessington for inset days or Eurotunnel. Occasionally Prezzo but I hate the place so not if I can help it!

WillowintheUK · 06/10/2018 13:05

Avios

Pumpkintopf · 06/10/2018 13:12

Über 3x value top up
Hotel stays - we've used Hilton and Novotel.
Ikwym about premier inn being cheaper but if you have vouchers hanging around it's effectively free!

soundsystem · 06/10/2018 13:24

Avios here too

MamaBearThius · 06/10/2018 13:25

Whipsnade zoo and Alton Towers!

somewhereovertherain · 06/10/2018 13:26

Food or days out but got less valuable and we shop less at Tesco now as well.

FinnJuhl · 06/10/2018 13:31

Cinema tickets - you can buy individual tickets or an annual unlimited pass.

FinnJuhl · 06/10/2018 13:32

Have also bought railcards and car breakdown membership recently.

Ouch44 · 06/10/2018 13:33

Had a free eurotunnel travel for holiday to France in the summer!

Sakura7 · 06/10/2018 13:34

Restaurant vouchers and occasionally cinema tickets

Noboozeforme · 06/10/2018 13:36

Rail card
Pizza express
Cinema

LastOneDancing · 06/10/2018 13:38

In the days of Boost, we bought a Dyson, a fitbit, a hedge trimmer, kids toys... done quite high value stuff.

A few weeks ago I used them for Thomas Land tickets and I think it worked out worse value than just buying on the gate Sad.
We'll probably only use them for meals out now.

Clubcard ain't what it used to be, but Tesco profits will probably be in a better place for it... It's the Booker effect!

fourquenelles · 06/10/2018 13:39

Cafe Rouge for the bucket of moules and the confit duck leg. Cheap special treat.

bluebump · 06/10/2018 13:41

Friends and family railcard.

noenergy · 06/10/2018 13:41

Bowling
Theme parks
Hotels
Car hire

But they r not worth as much any more

stopdropandroll · 06/10/2018 13:42

it’s definitely a waste to spend them at face value in the store. in the past i’ve got a magazine subscription got my nieces and pizza express vouchers but uber credit has been my favourite “boost” so far, and i’m going to use all my remaining vouchers on that. we barely shop in tesco anymore apart from petrol and cat food so don’t get many vouchers these days!

margotsdevil · 06/10/2018 13:46

Avios or whatever the current iteration of airmiles is. Loves our holidays we do!

Almostfifty · 06/10/2018 13:46

McDonald hotel vouchers.

StoorieHoose · 06/10/2018 13:49

Mines are in the Christmas saver scheme so I get my points as vouchers off during December
