What do you spend your Tesco Clubcard points on?

I've collected the points out of habit. But here I am with points to spend and it seems like over the years the rewards partners have dwindled.

Nobody in the house really reads the magazines on subscription. None of the days out are appealing. I don't want a gym subscription or Denby pottery.

Days out, the kids and I did the London eye and aquarium for free (as far as I’m concerned - I’d have bought the food anyway) also London zoo, both trips would have been over £100 - there’s no way I could justify that, it wasn’t even a special occasion.

We usually do a theme park too but haven’t been this year. Will do the friends and family railcard though.

I think I’m lucky being so near London, I looked on there when we booked a trip to Devon and only found one local option.

Pizza express or delivery saver.

SuperLoudPoppingAction · 06/10/2018 13:53

Oh but the best thing we had was an entire holiday!!! More than ten years ago now though and the airline (excel) eventually went bust.

WhoWants2Know · 06/10/2018 13:56

RAC cover, but open to other ideas!

BillyAndTheSillies · 06/10/2018 14:01

Airmiles. Worked out better when we had Tesco credit cards and were buying big ticket things to get airmiles, but we paid them off once we got to the end of the 0% APR deal.

Mormont · 06/10/2018 14:30

I spend mine on train tickets with Redspottedhanky - £5 in points = £15 worth of train ticket.

Mormont · 06/10/2018 14:32

I pay for everything with my Tesco credit card which is set to pay off automatically every month.

lovewatchingrainfall · 06/10/2018 14:33

Goldsmith vouchers. Brought my wedding ring with them a couple of years ago.. now saved them for some more jewellery.

RustyBear · 06/10/2018 14:35

I use mine for railcards for me & DH - Senior in our case, but you can get other types too - £15 of vouchers gets you a free 1 year railcard which is normally £30.

CherryPavlova · 06/10/2018 14:46

I get mine at Christmas and use for Foodbank donation.

mando12345 · 06/10/2018 14:51

Joint English heritage £33 of vouchers for DH and I.
Going to change some for uber.

peppaminttea · 06/10/2018 14:54

Days out vouchers here too - we have used the vouchers in Paris (which they don't seem to do any more) and London. Brilliant.

Have also used them to buy a bed and a phone.

buscaution · 06/10/2018 15:03

I don't wait now I just get them when I need them for a train journey.

wendz86 · 06/10/2018 16:11

Cinema tickets .

Tapirbackrider · 06/10/2018 16:24

Cinema tickets, but that's being stopped next month.

memememum · 06/10/2018 16:26

Haven't used them for a couple of years but previously we did Legoland and Youth hostels.

LoniceraJaponica · 06/10/2018 16:29

More shopping. None of the offers have been at the right time or appealed to me.

blackteaplease · 06/10/2018 16:33

Days out, we've managed Christmas at Eden project and longleat, Halloween at legoland and also Wookey hole.

DunesOfSand · 06/10/2018 16:36

When we lived in the UK, I used to double them for school uniform.
Now we live abroad, but still have the Tesco credit card collecting points. They get send yo Mums address, and she uses them at face value. Extracting the vouchers is her perk for sorting all our mail for us!

36degrees · 06/10/2018 17:11

Holiday cottages
Days out vouchers
Exchanged for Avios at one point but they expired before I could use them all up Sad

Livedandlearned2 · 06/10/2018 17:12

I used mine in Sealife, London. Saved me £60.

Livedandlearned2 · 06/10/2018 17:14

Also bought a tv with them, and a coat for ds, which he wore onceHmm
