Asda don't open this early on a Sunday??

We're off to the safari park Grin

Enjoy your ikea breakfast.

Soontobe60 · 30/09/2018 07:44

I'm just having a coffee in bed too. Will soon get up and make a cheese and onion pie for tea later. Then I'm off to referee a few games of rounders at a tournament. My DDs are coming over later for tea and a catch up. A lovely, relaxing day all round.
PS, have you tried the breakfasts at Morrisons? They're really great!

Minniemountain · 30/09/2018 07:46

DS stayed with MIL last night as we were out with friends and her DSis was staying. We'll pick DS up soon to go swimming. MIL and aunt are coming for lunch.

They might take DS to the fair whilst I keep an eye on the food.

WatchOutForTheCar · 30/09/2018 07:47

Up at 6.30am with DD. Made a loaf of bread this morning. Might take DD to the cinema this morning. Then off to a food festival for lunch

Ozgirl75 · 30/09/2018 07:49

Well mine is nearly over now (Australia) but we got to quite late. Played trivial pursuit with 8yo while 5yo played trains.

Kids played outside while I did breakfast and husband mowed lawn.

Played Qwirkle for a bit with older one while younger one did some drawing.

Then went for a bush walk for about 3 hours. Oldest fell in river as he was attempting a log crossing. He was v happy to go home in nothing but my poncho.

Home and they played outside.

Did violin with older one and spellings with younger. They are now watching TV and eating an early dinner as starving after walk.

Lovely day!

Been awake since 4:30am, just had coffee and breakfast. Helping with homework and off to my brothers late afternoon. I have to pop to Aldi to pick up dessert.

Are you in Scotland OP?
I'm about to get dressed for church at 8.30. Then when I get back I'm sorting my wardrobe out, packing away my summer stuff ready for winter.
Then sorting out DDs room, she was home last weekend on exeat and managed to completely trash it!
After that, I'm planning on a nice shower, pj's on, and crashing out while DH watches the football.
I love Sundays!

theboxofdelights · 30/09/2018 07:53

Planting all the winter plants I bought last week.

Cooking including cooking a beef casserole for the week ahead after I made something up last week and it was the nicest casserole I have ever made! Trying to replicate it before I forget it!

Lots of work, I have brought tons of work home to make my life easier next week.

Dog walk later on which includes picking blackberries.

VioletCharlotte · 30/09/2018 07:53

Still in bed but getting up in a minute. I'm heading out to the forest with the dog for a walk, then will have coffee in the cafe afterwards. This afternoon, not sure yet, may pop into town. DS has been staying with friends so will pick him up from the station later and drop him to work. Not sure what DS2's plans are. This evening I'm seeing a friend fora catch up.

stayingaliveisawayoflife · 30/09/2018 07:54

I have to do a long run as I am doing the Royal Parks Half Marathon in two weeks! I really don't want to though as it is cold out there and I am warm in bed!

imsorryiasked · 30/09/2018 07:54

I'm going to spend the day calming down. I woke in a panic because my alarm hadn't gone off and rushed around for half an hour before realising it wasn't Monday Blush

C0untDucku1a · 30/09/2018 07:54

Just me and te kids today. We are going to a farm park. Need to get a packed lunch first. Then homework for them and marking for me.

speakout · 30/09/2018 07:56

I woke up thinking it was Monday too- such a nice realisation that it was Sunday!

Ds has a 2 hour karate class followed by grading. After that he’ll be knackered as he was out all day yesterday too and had a late night so we’ll watch last night’s Harry Potter film on tv. Not sure why to do for tea yet...

VanessaShanessaJenkins · 30/09/2018 07:57

No Sunday trading hours? Jealous!! How did this bypass me? I'm moving to Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

GoatYoga · 30/09/2018 07:57

Just about to get up and take one of the children to a sports club. Then finish off homework and get ready for the week ahead. Working a 12-8 shift as a pharmacist - hate working on a Sunday!

mostlydrinkstea · 30/09/2018 07:59

Just written a sermon as yesterday I was at a wonderful celebration for a civil partnership and was too tired to write stuff out.

Today is a church service followed by a baptism. Then lunch then a few hours at the hospital visiting people with no visitors today and a service if there are enough people who want it. The home and prep for the evening service which is a mindfulness and stillness type thing.

The plan is that husband cooks then a large gin and Strictly.

A working day.

applecatchers36 · 30/09/2018 07:59

Still in bed my lie in as DH turn to get up with kids.
Harvest festival at church this morning.
Get DD to finish her homework.
Going to cook roast chicken later.
Get everything ready for work/ school tomorrow.
Everything at a very slow pace as 33 weeks pregnant...

SodTheBloodyLotOfThem · 30/09/2018 07:59

Shuffling around gently. Still sore after surgery on Thursday evening. Trying to keep the kids from destroying the house/persuade them to go out with their dad for a bit - the toddler will run out the door but the 4yo was horribly upset by me being in hospital for a few days and won't want to leave me.

(I am also hoping to poo. It has been many days. Surgery always makes my digestive system give up.)

Youvegotafriendinme · 30/09/2018 08:02

Got up about an hour ago with DS. Currently watching Ben and holly while having pancakes for breakfast and then I’ll have to go get ready for work. Would much rather stay here

DonnaDarko · 30/09/2018 08:02

Currently up with DS watching blaze and the monster machines (he's obsessed)

Today the main plan is to do the food shop. And meal plan. And cook everything. Not necessarily in that order.

I will be job hunting as had a bit of an argument with my boss on Friday and am frankly fed up of her shit.

Also need to think of flowers and order of service for my mum, as she passed away a week and a half ago :(

Going to call my closest friend later as she moved house yesterday, to see if there's anything she needs.

And then chill for the rest of the day and catch up on strictly!

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 30/09/2018 08:03

Been downstairs and loaded the dishwasher, coffee in bed now.
Have a few bits to sort this morning.
Dinner to put in the oven and then I’m off with a friend to watch the Football first match I’ve been to in an age
Then back to work tomorrow Sad

QueenofLouisiana · 30/09/2018 08:06

DS is going away for the first time with a sports team next weekend and wants clothes for the event. It’s a national event and he’s clearly nervous (even though he’s good enough to be selected he’s worried he really isn’t) so we’ve agreed to go shopping. Local towns aren’t big enough so it will need to be a proper trip out.

Back in time for training this evening.
