Having a lazy day! Relaxing in bed, napping and chilling. Then gonna make a nice cottage pie later for tea.

Selling furniture as moving back to the UK soon 😍 waiting for people to come pick it up. Then out for brunch with a friend, will come back and put more stuff on eBay. Maybe make a buffalo turkey chili later...

My lazy day has turned into walking around the local village with dh, having a look in the shops, pub roast for lunch and now in costa for a drink and some desert before walking that off. Lovely sunday, hope everyone else's is good!

Babybearsporij · 30/09/2018 17:29

DC and I went to see our best friends for coffee & cake & playing while DH did some decorating.

I'm now at work and I think DH is going to treat DC to Macdonalds for tea.

topcat2014 · 30/09/2018 18:01

Ran a half marathon this morning!

Another quiet Sunday. Played Harvest Moon and then went to Aldi. Come home watched Strictly Ballroom. Now watch Doctor Who.

MegBusset · 30/09/2018 18:20

Stayed at our caravan last night so after breakfast DH took the DC for a swim in the site's open-air pool while I packed away the cupboards as it's going into winter storage. Then we tackled the awning together.

After that had picnic lunch and walked to the beach for ice cream and the kids played in the playground.

Got home and did three loads of washing (caravan bedding etc), homework, baths for DC, etc.

Having pie and mash for tea in a bit Smile

Lie in to 10am, then bacon and fried egg nutty. Pottered about whilst dh and kids went for a walk and tree climbing.

Then prepared supper, went to park and swimming, all home for baths, pjs and family Wii session and giant Yorkshire filled with beef stew for supper.

Will be strictly soon then to bed with crosswords and reading.

Just had a lovely meal at our fave Lebanese restaurant
Three excellent courses all beautifully presented for €13
Long beach stroll back to the apartment

Ouch idiotical Shock
My neighbour popped in yesterday and she ran an ultra marathon last weekend (100 Miles in 25 hours!) and her feet look far worse - now that’s what I call idiotic Grin
We’ve had a really nice chilled out weekend, first one in a very long time when we’ve all just been home. A few walks, stopped in the pub for hot chocolates and beers, good home cooked food, I’ve decluttered some cupboards and chucked out a load of stuff we didn’t need.
Caught up on all the washing, changed the bedding, overseen ds doing his homework, met family for a walk this afternoon and they all came back for tea and cake.
Just really nice and relaxing.

stayingaliveisawayoflife · 30/09/2018 20:28

Well I did 14 miles today. Ran 7 in a very busy Richmond Park then walked another seven. I haven't run a full half marathon distance yet but don't expect to do that on the day of the race either! I will be happy to finish in under 5 hours. Anything extra is a bonus! As a bariatric surgery patient this is a miracle event for me anyway!!!
