Eating breakfast while on an MN break then continuing to plan maths lessons and probably a bit of housework later for a special treat.

8mileeminem · 30/09/2018 08:09

Still in bed but about to get up for a coffee and some porridge. Working an 11-7 shift today then home and walk to see the rest of the bridge demolition that's happening near to us. My dd was fascinated yesterday.

wendz86 · 30/09/2018 08:11

In bed at a hotel as been on a spa break with friends. Currently lying in bed waiting for them to wake up then going down for breakfast . Then back to relieve my parents from the children and try and entertain them rest of the day .

sprinkleofsunshine · 30/09/2018 08:13

Still in bed, going to make a cup of tea and catch up on some tv.

Then up, general tidying up, washing etc. May pop out for a walk or go look for a new car with dh, then home and cosy up later.

itssquidstella · 30/09/2018 08:31

Going to the tip then yoga. We've just moved so lots of stuff to sort out in the new place.

idiotical · 30/09/2018 08:33

Figuring out how to relive the pain that is my de-skinned foot from wearing textured tights

Sunday- what are you doing today?
Elderflower14 · 30/09/2018 08:35

Currently lying in bed listening to the radio. Getting up at 9 to walk the dog to the shop with Mum. I pick up the papers every day for an old lady and my sons other grandmother as the shop stopped deliveries...
Harvest Festival at 10.30am then lunch and then my aunt is coming over with her friend and gran daughter this afternoon.

n0ne · 30/09/2018 08:41

Currently sharing a pineapple with DD(5) and DD(1) while they watch some god-awful fairy cartoon thing on Netflix. Going out a bit later to a community day/fête, meeting up with some mates and their kids. Knackered after another crap night's sleep thanks to the baby but looking forward to the community day - they teach the kids how to craft and cook and stuff so DD will love it.

MaverickSnoopy · 30/09/2018 08:50

Bloody hell idiotical!! That looks excruciating. I would air as much as possible and when you need to get up I would cover in a large dressing square (you know the sort from the chemist with shiny sides). Try not to put pressure on it when you walk.

I'm 39+1 and today is all about the roast. I don't plan on making "big/proper" meals for a while after today and REALLY fancy cooking. So am making roast turkey, roast potatoes, yorkies, veg, stuffing, bread sauce and rice pudding - all done from scratch because I seem to have the cooking bug today!! Also off to try and get DD a pair of winter boots before the baby comes and I never want to venture out again! Then this afternoon snuggling down with DH and the kids for Sunday tea and a film in our PJs. Can't wait!

Strawberrybelly · 30/09/2018 08:52

That looks sore @idiotical. I'm just having my 2nd coffee, Dd and Dp are having milk. Then I need to get ready for work and work 10-6. Dp and Dd are going for a walk in the woods and he's making a roast for when I get home.

confusedofengland · 30/09/2018 08:54

@DonnaDarko sorry to hear about your mum Flowers

We had a cup of tea in bed, now up & getting ready to go out. DH has to go to a nice town for his football coaching today, so I will take Ds2 & ds3. There is a promenade there, with giant sandpit & great playground.

Then off to pick up Ds1 who has been at cub camp since Friday night & who has been hugely missed! Then homework & chilling.

CustardOmlet · 30/09/2018 08:54

All still in our PJs, but the washing machine is on and the dishwasher has been loaded. DS1 has rugby training this morning, DH normally takes him and coaches but he’s away this weekend so down to me. House is a mess so need an epic tidy up, top up food shop, possibly going to a computer game museum if I can be bothered!

Pinkvici22 · 30/09/2018 08:55

Just had a coffee, water and paracetamol in a desperate attempt to hide a horrible hangover headache.

Need to go to the gym, food shopping and sort washing and ironing...and have zero motivation to do any of it.

vampirethriller · 30/09/2018 09:14

Coffee in bed now, just walked the dog round the block, waiting for my brother to come and take her to his for a few days because I've got bloody pleurisy and am 35 weeks pregnant, and can't walk her as much as she needs. Breathing is top of the to do list today!

GingerFrogs · 30/09/2018 09:17

Supermarkets are 24 hours beside me. Or some that aren't open at 8 on a Sun anyway.

I'm up early about to do.some work stuff but feeling a bit crap and wheezy so hoping it settles and a trip to ooh gp isn't needed. Then I have a birthday party later, low key so I can manage to just sit if lungs are being shits

GingerFrogs · 30/09/2018 09:19

vampire oh pleurisy is horrible! Much sympathy. The only time I had ever heard of it before was from the Billy Connelly song. Which I sang in my head whenever anyone mentioned it.

Whattheduck · 30/09/2018 09:21

We are all still in bed here going to get up in a minute as I need a coffee and to make some breakfast
Myself and dd are going clothes shopping and stopping off at Costa then going to see my brother as its his birthday today before returning home to cook a roast and clean upstairs.

Noboozeforme · 30/09/2018 09:21

In bed and will get up at 11.

My dad is picking us up at 11.30 to take us back to his for a roast.

Then .. back to bed to watch a film / do an online shop.

Kids still asleep and I'll be dragging them out of bed at 11 too !

toomanypillows · 30/09/2018 10:42

I have been doing some reading for my master's degree which starts tomorrow 😲 DS (9) has been sorting his room and has requested some storage boxes to help him out so I'm going to put down the books and take him to IKEA.
Might take the dog out later if it doesn't rain and then iron school uniforms.
Love Sunday 😍

ShackUp · 30/09/2018 10:43

I'm in bed with a stinking cold and DS2 who is having a nap. I'm never ill, feels really weird.

DH and DS1 have gone to Sainsbos as there were no online shop slots. We were meant to be going round the museums and to the park but I think I'll just stay here Smile

Batmanthedude · 30/09/2018 10:53

Been up since 7.30 with ds which is a lie in as usually up at 6. Tidied and cleaned downstairs, done a load of washing. Park this afternoon, and trying to build up the energy to move all of ds toys to his room. Dh now entertaining ds whilst I mn in bed for a bit. Homemade curry for tea

tessiegirl · 30/09/2018 10:54

Still in bed reading mn! Hungry deciding what to eat...Hmm

mamaduckbone · 30/09/2018 11:03

I started the day with coffee and papers in bed and didn’t get up until 9.45 - unheard of! Ds2 is at cub camp and Ds1 has enjoyed being left in peace on the PlayStation for a couple of hours.

Had breakfast with dh and made some soup for this week’s lunches, got to take ds1 to a football match and pick ds2 up in a while.

Roast dinner and a film later and I’ll have to do some work for school at some point.

We’ve had a series of busy weekends lately so I’m thoroughly enjoying a lazy day.

vampirethriller · 30/09/2018 11:13

GingerFrogs my dad used to sing that when we were little! I'd forgotten it

SaucepanMan26 · 30/09/2018 11:15

Up at 7 with dp as he's working today so just me, dc and the dog today. I've got a stinking cold and a bad chest so today shall be mostly spent doing not very much.
I do have a pile of ironing to do, which includes uniforms so will have to crack on with that soon.
Another coffee then I'll get my arse in gear Brew
