Washing Machines.... Miele, Bosch, Samsung?

So my washing machine has died. Rather boringly I would like some recommendations for a good replacement.

The bastard that just broke on me was a hotpoint, it only lasted 2 years. So I am prepared to go upmarket a bit, but is it worth it?

MargaretDribble the only noticeable difference in the dimensions is that it sticks out from the unit it's underneath by about an inch.

OutPinked I've heard a rumour that you can turn the song off. I've never tried this myself though because I quite like it Grin

Ebac

British made and come with a 5 or 10 year guarantee.

I love mine, much better (and quieter) than the Samsung I had before that kicked the bucket after 3 years!

Samsung and domestic and general coverage

Spend as much as you can and you’ll always have top of the line machine

@insancerre I bet it was! We're not too far from you! He complained about the weight of it too Grin

My old Bosch lasted 12 years and was awesome. I was not flush for cash after it went wrong so I got a Beko. Utter shite - I am going back to Bosch when this one goes .
