What's everyone up to today?

No plans as such here yet! Was up early with kids. DH snoring his head off but when he gets up I might go back for an hour while he takes them to grandparents.

Looks like a nice day so we might go to a local outdoor family event. Will get dinner out for a treat. I've done the minimum of housework so can be comfortable for the day. It's shaping up to be a nice day I hope! Anyone else up to anything interesting?

Today we have to decide where the electrical points will be installed in our new master bedroom suite. Worried about getting it wrong! We also need to choose radiators.

Exciting times...

Miserable weather here so we’re having a roast dinner & watching films. We don’t have many days just slobbing about indoors so it makes a nice change

FiveGoMadInDorset · 23/09/2018 08:32

Still in bed, need to make candles and going to lunch at my mothers. Feeling very sorry for friends who are doing the iron man in Weymouth today as it is pissing down with rain

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 23/09/2018 08:33

Raining her so inside for us. Me a One year old, the little mermaid and party rings Grin...oh and the husband

MysweetAudrina · 23/09/2018 08:35

Pilates at 10.45 and yin yoga at 11.45. Probably relax in the afternoon in between getting stuff ready for the week and preparing dinner.

Largepiecesofcrookedwood · 23/09/2018 08:37

I'm in the gym Grin Though like five I have friends doing the weymouth Ironman so I'm feeling my lot isn't too bad.
Then a day of housework, church and prep for next week.

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 23/09/2018 08:37

Gardening was planned, but won’t be happening because of the weather. Might go mad and sort out paperwork.

doleritedinosaur · 23/09/2018 08:39

We just got back off holiday Friday evening so this is our first day at home as yesterday was spent out.

Going to bake, make bread & get ready for the week. Also hoping to be caught up laundry by tonight.

Basically a lazy day well as lazy with two toddlers as it can be.

Awful weather here today so I'm just glad we don't have to turn out for football this morning! Homework and a film for us

theboxofdelights · 23/09/2018 08:52

Nice weather here, DD is going out for the day. I haven’t got any plans, still feeling under the weather.

I might walk into town for some ingredients for something I plan on cooking, pop into work for a book I need. Bit of housework, I haven’t dust d for about a month so need to do that if nothing else.

drinkswineoutofamug · 23/09/2018 08:54

Stripping the living room walls and painting the ceiling and attempting to bring the tiled window sills I found back to life.

BitchQueen90 · 23/09/2018 08:56

Crap weather so nothing. We were out and about yesterday so gonna do a roast and just chill.

OneToThree · 23/09/2018 08:57

Little kids still asleep and both full of cold. Older boy off to play football. Mother in laws for tea. That’s about it.

CoffeebyIV · 23/09/2018 08:57

Up early with DDog and now using the quiet time to make soup for lunch this week and get the ironing done. Visiting my DSis later and then home for beef Wellington we found in Aldi yesterday with a box set to binge with DH.

Isadora2007 · 23/09/2018 08:58

Hopefully going to watch my grandchild make an entrance into the world.

DialsMavis · 23/09/2018 08:59

It's absolutely pouring down here.

Invited some fire DS round for a roast and DH had the car at work, so DD and I will get wellies and rain coats on and stomp to the supermarket for supplies, then cooking and trying to get all the washing dry.

I am really looking forward to a day at home doing not much as it will be a change.

topcat2014 · 23/09/2018 09:00

Just glad that the half marathon I am doing is next sunday, not this one :)

Aldi for 10:00, Roast chicken for dinner, DD homework, ironing, etc.

Fun, huh..

Ledkr · 23/09/2018 09:00

Hungover 😵 so going to attempt to laze about as much as I can do with my lot! It raining so hopefully they will be happy to Judy chill too.

akitas2 · 23/09/2018 09:03

Just about to take the dog round the block. A very brief walk this morning! Hopefully by his second walk it'll have stopped raining. It's really chucking it down here! I keep getting "the look" 😁. Then to Morrisons for bits and bobs and meet my mum and dad in the cafe for a cuppa before we buy all the stuff we didn't know we needed! .

revoveryishard · 23/09/2018 09:05

In bed, flask of tea, watching the rest of killing Eve, don't plan on moving 😁

HeyMicky · 23/09/2018 09:05

As little as possible - it's the first completely free weekend day we've had for months.

DDs have a load of DD1's birthday craft to play with; we'll watch a film at some point. Making a pie for supper. That's it.

FormerlyFrikadela01 · 23/09/2018 09:06

Up at the arse crack of dawn with the ds then Working a late shift. Joys of being a nurse. Me and dp might get an hour tonight when i get home if we're not too tired by then (hes on early shift).

Stephisaur · 23/09/2018 09:07

My Dad is taking me to see my Nan (his mom) who is in a home following her stroke last year. I find it very difficult to visit her on my own because it makes me so very sad. I haven’t seen her in months though and she wants to see me and “the baby” (I’m pregnant) so he’s taking me to save me the drive.

Then, when I get home, my other nan is taking me and DH out for lunch as she’s bought something for the baby and wanted to see us.

So a busy nan-themed day for me!

ambostraw · 23/09/2018 09:07

I'm in bed, it's amazing. I relate my get to stay in bed past 7.30am so I am making the most of this morning. I should be at work but took a holiday for no reason Grin

DH is also still in bed, as are teens. 8yo is downstairs, but only just.

I'm going to drag my arse out of bed soon, DH will be making bacon rolls, then I am off shopping with one of the teens.

Bezalelle · 23/09/2018 09:13

Cat woke me up at 6am so I got up and made the most of the early start to get some work done on the books I'm editing (deadline next week - argh).

Going to do some yoga now, then dinner later in my friend's "sukkah" - it's the Jewish festival of Sukkot where we build these tents to eat meals in for a week.
