No plans as such here yet! Was up early with kids. DH snoring his head off but when he gets up I might go back for an hour while he takes them to grandparents.

Looks like a nice day so we might go to a local outdoor family event. Will get dinner out for a treat. I've done the minimum of housework so can be comfortable for the day. It's shaping up to be a nice day I hope! Anyone else up to anything interesting?

Having a lie in with nice coffee. Then off to the gym & maybe a trip to Tesco to pick some bits up on my way home. Shower, hair wash & change then off to MIL for dinner. Depending on what time we're home we might watch a movie with popcorn & snacks later.

@topcat2014 what half are you doing? I've got one next Sunday & was thinking the same thing as you!

Been up early with ds (3). Chilled day at home for us. Got nothing to do except put some washing on a bit later. Then cook for ds and I, followed by bath and bed for ds. Dh is at work and will be back later on this evening, hopefully not too late (can never tell exactly what time with his job). He will eat there. Then tidy up and sit and relax and watch some telly (hopefully dh will be home by then, if not I'll be waiting for him too).
Same thing all the time..

Morning - love these threads Blush Anyway it is pouring and dark in London. So I think we are staying in. I have a cold along with the children so we should anyway. So potter at home day - just made drop scones for breakfast and dinner will be roast beef. We have homework that needs doing and packing for ds1 school trip next week. Uniforms I done yesterday. Thats it. The kids can play. Better go and sort the kitchen. Oh h is still sleeping. Have a lovely day everyone.

VioletCharlotte · 23/09/2018 09:24

Rubbish weather here so I'm still snuggles up in bed. Will get up in a minute and get some breakfast. DS1has work at 11, so will drop him off then go to the gym. This afternoon I think I'm going to make some soup and catch up on The Bodyguard while doing the exciting. Not very exciting but I'm tired and no money so happy to take it easy and have a home day.

OneOfTheGrundys · 23/09/2018 09:26

Up late as disrupted night. DH is terminally ill and his treatment makes him snore A LOT.

Then dog #2 managed to switch the tv on downstairs. Dog #1 (v elderly, sleeps next to us) then decided bed wasn’t comfy enough and started fiddling with it.

Today: housework, bulb purchasing, football match with DS if weather holds ok and Bodyguard tonight!!!!

applecatchers36 · 23/09/2018 09:26

Cooked breakfast in a bit. DH watching sport, while I'm mnetting. Then we will probably go for a swim. This afternoon we have arranged to go for a late lunch (after DS nap) with the in-laws.

QueenOfMyWorld · 23/09/2018 09:27

Lazy day today,ds 4 woke us at 7am so me and dh went and got in his bed with him to watch power rangers for a bit Gin just done tea and crumpets.Off to mum and dad's for Sunday lunch later

OneOfTheGrundys · 23/09/2018 09:28

MrsPear I love these threads too! They’re a little bit the opposite of Instagram iykwim?

Eastie77 · 23/09/2018 09:30

DC woke up us up at 6am (DS trilled "it's morning time so the adults have to get up").
Have made them breakfast and feeling thankful DD's 8am swimming class moved to Saturday rather than Sunday this week.

I'm sorting out clothes for next week and batch cooking a couple of meals then off to watch a football match with friends in the afternoon. DP is taking the DC to play at a friends house - she has 3 small DC so will be a noisy play date!

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 23/09/2018 09:38

I need to get an additional 5 Kallax cubes worth of books, files and papers into my office corner without buying new units.
I have just emptied a 2x4 unit to turn into a 4x2 and restructure the whole space to see where it gets me. I could get some IVAR shelves up.

I wonder - who put all the dust there? I'll blame the cat.

piggie88 · 23/09/2018 09:48

Housework this morning and then mother and father in law are round for a roast this afternoon.
Got a toddler and a newborn so nice to have a chilled day and a break from reading the same book over and over as nanna will get that excitement later Grin

cricketmum84 · 23/09/2018 09:48

DH got up with the kids and left me to sleep until 9. He has just headed out to Lidl then I've got the ironing to do, a joint of pork to go in the oven and a trash mag to read while he bottles 30 litres of home brew Pinot blush!

Bluesheep8 · 23/09/2018 09:48

Quiet day here. DP has got to work, leaving at 12 and back around 6 so I will be making home made roast tomato soup for tonight's tea and pre cooking a Spanish chicken stew for tomorrow. Bit slow to get going as we were home late last night...went to see the league of gentlemen in manchester-bloody brilliant!!!

Toptheginup · 23/09/2018 09:49

Just had breakfast, lounging in bed, stay in pj's all morning and do some uni work and get uniforms ironed for tomorrow.
Later I'll be doing some laundry then pop to tesco for some essentials then back home to relax

MrsPear · 23/09/2018 09:53

OneOfTheGrundys I see it as modern version of curtain twitching.

lucysmam · 23/09/2018 09:54

We've been up since 9, nice lie in! The girls usually get up early regardless of what day it is.

Dd2 is in a strop already because I told her she'd have to wait until I go up to get dressed, to get her a Halloween light projector out of one of my drawers (I have a few Christmas bits stashed already). She needs to practise spellings but did homework yesterday.

Dd1 needs to draw a Pringles tube...so far she is refusing to use the Lidl pringle tube because the teacher said it has to be Pringle pringles Hmm I'm not paying for flippin' proper ones when I wouldn't normally buy them at all!

I'm going to shorten some shirt sleeves for dd1, bake for dd2's packed lunches, repair some tights and cook a roast :)

HollyBollyBooBoo · 23/09/2018 09:59

Up early, just can't sleep past 4.30am.
Done a load of washing
Watched some tv
DD has done parkrun.
Home having a hot chocolate
Will do the ironing in a minute.

IpanemaChica · 23/09/2018 10:07

Awful weather so, bit of housework and pottering. Lego with kids, promised my dd a game of Harry Potter Cluedo later. Plus the dreaded homework battle with ds.
Then baking, late roast lunch and catch up on strictly with some Gin

Therealjudgejudy · 23/09/2018 10:08

Just back from the gym. Having a cup of coffee then off to Tesco for some bits and will pop into next aswell to check out the sale.

Then home to do a bit of laundry and chill watching films. Perfect Sunday.

OneOfTheGrundys · 23/09/2018 11:21

Hehe yes!
(Still in pjs here!)

stegosauruslady · 23/09/2018 11:38

Also still in pjs.

So far, I have made everyone pancakes for brunch and drank an ocean of tea.

Today, DP is doing a few jobs around the house, I'm making a roast and the DDs are bumming around. Lazy Sunday as we have to be up so early all through the week and poor DD1 (just started secondary school) is exhausted!

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 23/09/2018 12:58

It worked - does not look pretty, but everything new is in and it is working.
My crime novels are still spreaad out on the floor, but they too have a place to go to. Now my back hurts.
And I have managed to startle the cat.

Dowser · 23/09/2018 13:11

Lovely day in N Yorks
Enjoying it by slobbing about
In just over a week, we left Dorset for Leicester dowsing conference last weekend, then stayed at caravan till Tuesday night
Then home to catch up with family for three days before coming back here
Considering in all that time I’ve felt like crap I deserve some slobbing around time
Home tomorrow, finish packing and then Tenerife on Friday...to do some more slobbing

Dowser · 23/09/2018 13:13

Probably go to cinema tonight
Saw the house with a clock in its walls last night, which was ok
Fancy something else toni

confusedandemployed · 23/09/2018 13:19

Beautiful day in South Wales. Feeling pretty good after a hen day yesterday, DD and I indulging in a bit of pampering before friends coming round to help me top up my alcohol levels 😂 We'll have wine, jackets spuds, chicken and then toast marshmallows over the camping stove.
