No plans as such here yet! Was up early with kids. DH snoring his head off but when he gets up I might go back for an hour while he takes them to grandparents.

Looks like a nice day so we might go to a local outdoor family event. Will get dinner out for a treat. I've done the minimum of housework so can be comfortable for the day. It's shaping up to be a nice day I hope! Anyone else up to anything interesting?

How far away from your caravan do you live Dowser? It is indeed a lovely day in N Yorks, my washing is outside and will be dry in an hour.

I am cooking a lamb tagine and another lamb thing with chorizo and butter beans, recipe called for black pudding as well but that is a step too far for me. I am batch cooking like a crazy woman atm!

It's a lovely day here in Cheshire too. Sunny but blowy.
Dp is away for the weekend so just me and the 4dc. We went to mass this morning which was lovely as it was a welcome mass for all the new reception children that had started. Ds(5) was amazed to see so many of his new friends there! It was so nice to see them all running around on the lawn afterwards.
They served bacon butties and Buck's Fizz which was a bonus.
I have argued with dd1(13) who has stomped offf round to my mums no doubt to tell her I'm an awful person.
Film and bil have called over and taken the 3 youngest to the park for the afternoon so I've got a couple of hours of peace.
I'm going to put away the ironing I've just done and make a roast for when they all get back.

I've been for a lovely long walk along the coastal path with my friend, absolutely glorious day but with a breeze (live abroad). Our last stop was at a hotel for a swim and a cocktail, bliss.

All of a sudden there was an almighty kerfuffle; some pissed up scousers started a fight at the bar Shock The lifeguard ran over to intervene, there was lots of 'CALM DOWN CALM DOWN!!!' then hotel security and the manager appeared. Nobody calmed down so the police were called and arrests were made Shock It was both entertaining and tragic Grin

Well, we got the electrical points worked out although radiators defeated us, as we need advice on what sizes we need to heat the space. So that’s parked for a plumber conversation.

Then the crappy weather inspired us to book a holiday for February half term. Result.

Ds had been suspiciously quiet throughout all this, and we discovered him asleep on his bedroom floor. Turned out to have a raging fever, so he was then tucked up in bed for the rest of the afternoon and we ditched plans to go for a family walk.
