I was putting petrol in the car today and realised that because DH nearly always does it (despite me owning my own car and driving to work every day) that I am nearly 50 and have probably filled a car with petrol a couple of dozen times in my life.

Having people round to my house - I'm not very sociable and live very rurally. I've just realised the last time any one came round to my house (other than the builder) was at Easter. This doesn't bother me at all - my job brings me into contact with a lot of people all day long so I love the solitude of home - because of the place I live I tend to meet friends at a central location.

Wear makeup.

LusaCole · 22/09/2018 14:43

Wear make up for me too.

Also drink tea and have a shower.

bimbobaggins · 22/09/2018 14:44

Drink alcohol, go to spa days, let people take advantage of me. Give a fuck .

oooerrmissus · 22/09/2018 14:44

I've never mowed a lawn. It was always my dad's job growing up and so it just doesn't feature in my brain as something to do.

IthinkIsawahairbrushbackthere · 22/09/2018 14:45

Empty the vacuum cleaner. Last time I did it I had to call my daughter to remind me where the button was to release the cylinder.

SophieDevereaux · 22/09/2018 14:45

Yes, I never wear makeup - I'm always in awe and mildly bewildered by my colleagues who arrive day in day out with a full face of makeup - and it does'nt slide off during the day.

Also, heels. I don't own any shoes that aren't flat.

Shower
Watch films
Go shopping (other than for food....love food shopping!)
Eat processed food
Sit still

Meet0nTheIedge · 22/09/2018 14:47

Blowdry my hair, drink wine, cook a roast dinner.

gobbin · 22/09/2018 14:50

Drink wine, watch tv (ours only seems to show Sky Sports 😂), have friends over (prefer peace and quiet in the house).

louderthan · 22/09/2018 14:52

Iron anything

KeepServingTheDrinks · 22/09/2018 14:53

cleaning!

MysteriousQuinn · 22/09/2018 14:53

Drink tea or coffee, watch Netflix, go in my garden in the summer.

IfIWasABirdIdFlyIn2ACeilingFan · 22/09/2018 14:53

I don’t go shopping either other than food shopping.

I don’t have people round socially. Not sure why. I don’t really have friends who do that?

I don’t have sex. No partner, not interested in one night stands- don’t go out enough to meet anyone.

IfIWasABirdIdFlyIn2ACeilingFan · 22/09/2018 14:54

I don’t drink coffee. I never have. The smell alone makes me feel sick.

IfIWasABirdIdFlyIn2ACeilingFan · 22/09/2018 14:55

Oh I don’t drink wine ever either. And I don’t like eating so I avoid cooking where at all possible.

Kewqueue · 22/09/2018 14:58

Drive. I can drive but I just never need to.

SophieDevereaux · 22/09/2018 14:59

I don't have a summer and winter wardrobe - yesterday in work someone was saying they had put away their summer clothes and unpacked the winter ones.
I just have clothes and then wear differing amounts of layers depending on their thickness.

Looking round my living room right now it's fair to say I don't often dust.

Wear make up
Have a bath
Wear heels
Blow dry my hair
Go shopping other than food shopping
Care what anyone else thinks about what I'm wearing

Enko · 22/09/2018 15:06

Go to the pub I just don't get it as a pleasurable thing to do.

Eat sausage rolls (or veggie rolls - looking at you dd2)

Enjoy gardening in any shape or form

ScreamingValenta · 22/09/2018 15:09

I've never filled a car with petrol and wouldn't know how to (I don't drive). I am however adept at paying for the petrol after DH has put it in Grin.

I haven't been to a hairdresser since the 1980s.

I've never been to a spa or a gym.

I rarely have a shower as I am addicted to my daily bath.

I do everything else on this thread so far, though. In particular, I never leave the house without putting on a little make up Blush.

LaurieFairyCake · 22/09/2018 15:14

I don’t go shopping ever. I get food delivered and buy clothes over the Internet.

I haven’t been in a shopping centre for years. I’ve been to Ikea to buy a chair and I went in some gift shops on holiday and that’s it.

It’s the number 1 leisure activity apparently

lljkk · 22/09/2018 15:15

Buy coffee when out and about.
(I loathe coffee, plus you can make it for pennies at home)
The whole Costa-Starbucks culture is passing me by.

Mrsfrumble · 22/09/2018 15:18

Go in a car.
Mow the lawn or any other gardening.
Wear heels.

The first two because I'm a city kid who lives in a flat and walks or takes public transport everywhere. The last because I'm 5'10", and was always told when I was young that being taller than a man was off-putting Hmm

SophieDevereaux · 22/09/2018 15:20

I've never been (or had any desire) to go to Ikea. My friends find this unbelievable and keep telling me I don't know what I'm missing.

I hate going shopping so have stuff delivered 99% of the time.
